DAT tape runs out during the Beginning of TDTWWA. A little bit of static in the right channel but it is cleaned up during the EQ period. Update (06/25/2020): My bad on having this not up on the archive for so long. At one point we kept this on the "NIN Drive only" in order to gain other sources that may be uncirculated. But that whole culture for me has long gone. Just sometimes I forget to add things here on the archive for download. Looking back on it, it's not that great of a tape. Just something different.

My last video from the run of shows in 2009. This was supposedly the last show in the States for the foreseeable future, until they announced the last run of club shows. It was epic. Over 2 hours of NIN at Bonnaroo. This was the first and only time that I ran a mic stand for NIN and it was a treat. We had about 3-4 other tapers there as well and it was great to talk prior to the set. I can’t remember why I didn’t record the beginning of ‘Home.’ I think it was because I was having difficulty starting my DAT recorder with the ALD recording I was doing (it’s not great, trust me) as well. Thankfully, Frank has added in the beginning edits from some other footage from the show. The only two incomplete parts are during ‘The Way Out Is Through’ because I wanted to enjoy the song and also ‘Dead Souls’ when I had to switch batteries. It was show #9 on this tour for me filming and my arms were dead tired as I had to hold it over my head the entire show to film from the board. Big thanks to Frank for getting all of this synced up and edited. I revisited the 2009 audio master for this, as I felt the original release was pretty boomy. It was nice to listen to this show back. A really great show. I think it ended at 0130-0200 in the morning.

Taper's Notes, "Recorder apparently left in ALMOST TAPING MODE until I noticed over halfway through the show lmao, forgot to hit the double record. Insane." Thanks to Mark for sending over his tape! The tape ends during the middle of Hurt. Mark and I taped in the same spot and great to hear his tape. Brings back really good memories.

Filmer's notes, "A great show and another great year for Bonnaroo. We decided against sticking around at Springsteen after probably his 4th or 5th song…. it was time to stake a spot for NIN. This was about 2 and a half hours prior to show time and there were already about 1500 or so people waiting around. We found a good comfortable place to sit about 40 feet back from left-center stage. Long time NIN fan, loaded with a camera, tapes and batteries, I couldn't resist starting to tape after the 1st song was partially over (unfortunately missing the intro). I began taping and for some reason just couldn't stop. About 45 minutes into the show, I look over and see someone else with a video camera about 10 feet to my right. I slap him on the shoulder and say we should get together after the show. Sure enough he finds me after the show. Even with tape and battery changes and missing the intro, between him and I we had the whole show! A new taper friend for life. I chopped it together and couldn't resist giving it for everyone else to enjoy. Much thanks to everyone who helped and especially to Nine Inch Nails for the many years of wonderful and beautiful music."
