The show was the best that I've seen!

I caught them years ago when they came to MTSU and then back to Vandy's Memorial Gym... this show had nothing on those, granted those were different times/periods in Trent's/NIN live(s) nonetheless this show clearly brought a whole new meaning to his "resurrection!"

Very impressive. The band was the emboidiment of perfection, it was flawlessly executed. I kept thinking that the might play a song for a surprise, but as I saw from the Ft. Lauderdale show, I knew what we were in for.

Death From Above was great, loved the costumes.
Queens were good, no complaints, Josh was a pirate, the bass player was (what appeared to be) Darth Sidious (Star Wars), Troy (Gomez Adams?) and the drummer (?) But it was all good, especially when Josh came up and said 'I came for booty!!'

Nails was great, I was surprised that Trent didn't acknowledge his long time revisit, but all is good. Although, they didn't play Ruiner, the setlist was more than I could ask for, even from the 2 Atlanta shows I saw back in May. My only thought was, when they played Eraser/RWIB/BYIT, that the images (were very touching), seemed to subdue the crowd quite a bit, which I thought he could have probably saved that for last, but nevertheless, it was great as it was.

Mr. Carapetis, you were awesome, don't let no one tell you different, much respect to your efforts, I was more than amazed.

Good show, same setlist as Atlanta, but the crowd was a lot calmer. Even though it was the same setlist it was still an awesome show. I recorded the show, have yet to listen to it (I had to drive from Nashville straight to work this morning) I wanted to get a litho, but didnt have the cash to get it last night. I was at the Nashville Halloween show, and this was my first ever NIN concert. All i can say is that i was blown away. Complete sensory overload. I had seats at the back of the arena in the 200 section (201 to be exact) and i had an absolute perfect view to see the entire production of the show. It was just amazing. the lights and visuals and sound quality are all top notch. At the end of the show, i said to my boyfriend, who got me tix for my birthday, I feel like Trent Reznor just pulled my soul out of my chest, fucked it in front of me, and then shoved it back inside of me. LOL. I cannot just pick one highlight of the show, the whole thing was so intense, but Trent has sold me a ticket to every single tour they will do for the rest of their career. Excellent band, excellent show. Happy Halloween indeed!

The show was fucking awesome!!
I was front row on the rail directly in front of Trent the whole time!!!

This blew away the other two Nails shows I saw (Atlanta Tabernacle and Atlanta Phillips). Trent had so much energy. He also threw his whole water bottle out directly at me and I was completely doused in it.
This was the best night ever!!!

Taylor, it was so awesome to get to know you these past two shows... you're the shit dude!!

And Alice (themadgray) thanks so much for the room and the Trentatubby shirt that all the band members have now... haha!!! You are also the shit!

And oh yeah, let's not forget my thanks to Justin (aka Superfan aka maybe roadie now) for getting my extra ticket to will call for me so my friend could pick it up.

All of the people I've met in line the past two shows are super great and I look forward to doing this again in '06!!!


Okay if you want to know about the costumes the bands wore:

DFA1979 - guitar/keyboard guy was a fat jogger and the drummer/singer was spider man in a very skimpy suit that showed way too much when he got up to sing during one song.

QOTSA - Josh was a pirate and the guitarist was Hunter S. Thompson with a gunshot in the middle of his forehead

Nails didn't dress up.

someone said the the crowd was calm or something, that person must not have had floor tix has it was crazy for the whole set down there. (anyone on the floor i was the fat bald tall white guy mostly three, foor rows back of the rail on stage left)
rwib was probably the most emotional song on with teeth for me and all i can say is that the live version literally brought tears to me as im standing in the pit. the crowd was great for that part of the show as it seemed everyone calmed down for those three songs and it was the coolest thing.
after the show im standing by the rail when one of the roadies is taking the mic down and there were at least seven pics still in the stand but he throws one, anyway, the pic he throws lands down by the security guard and he picks it up and throws it right at me, i grab it but i have ten other people trying to get it from me and it falls on the ground right below me and i put my foot on it and everyone stops going for it, so i bend down to get it and this jack off comes crawling under my legs and snags it, so i think its my brother fucking with me then i turn to look and its some 45 year old guy laying there on the ground with "my" pic so i see red and im still full of juice form the show and i go to start pounding on the guy but when he sees me coming he reaches the pic up and gives it to me.

the show was awesome, although I wish they would have dropped the curtain backdown for hurt and made it like the video. the memphis voodofest show doesnt even exist compared to this show.

Wow.... I'm speechless. I was at the Atlanta Tabernacle club shows (on May 21st and 22nd), I thought those shows were fucking excellent, I thought the second night could have been the greatest night of my life. But, Nashville surpassed even what I thought was unsurpassable. It was the best fucking show I have ever seen.

I have a question for everyone, did everyone see Aaron in his trademark chicken costume before the show walking around? No one knew who the fuck he was but of course I did since I watched that Spiral video ^-^. I gave him a salute as he walked by and he waved at me!! Fuck yes!!! It was hilarious to see him in the big yellow chicken suit walking around going unscathed and nobody gave a shit who it was not knowing that, "hey it's the guitar player for NINE INCH FUCKIN' NAAAAIIIILLLLLSSSS!!!!!"

fucking *amazing* show. to taylor: thank you. so. fucking. much. because you let me take your guest spot, i got a SIGNED lithograph from the band (except jeordie) -- trent's body guard sweeney (i hope that's spelt correctly) took a poster that i'd made, on which i'd drawn the beefed up version of trent from meathead's halloween flash cartoon and written "beefcake" across it ala cartman from south park, then he came back with the signed lithograph, and it luckily survived the pit. that made my year, i think. they also played every song i hoped they would save sin, but since i saw them back in may and they played it then, i'm certainly not going to complain.

it was my first time in the pit, and i have to say i actually had a really good experience. the only thing that sucked was the bald guy who kept molesting everyone -- he sexually harrassed two of my friends, and pretty much every girl that was around me. i don't think he did anything to me, but i was so focused on the music (right against the banister between jeordie and trent!) that i don't think i particularly cared.

the performances were all extremely wonderful, and i absolutely loved QOTSA, especially since they played "no one knows", which is my favourite song by them.

i'd write something more constructive, but there's really nothing more to say beyond, "the show FUCKING ROCKED and i will so do it again".

Great show - same setlist as the atlanta show.. but not complaining expected it. The crowd on the floor where I was can suck my nuts.. I'm not sure they even knew one song and stood there with a blank face.

I thought it was cute of trent to share his candy during the set.. at least I think it was a bunch of candy he threw in the pit.

Had a fucked up time trying to get my spiral tickets. I got to the venue a few minutes before they were going to let everyone in. They locked the door to get to will call and said I would have to go to the end of the line, wait and then go to will call when i got inside.. EAT ME.. I waited until someone came out of the locked door and ran in. Whoever the girl was that I gave my extra general admission ticket to.. hope you got to the floor and enjoyed the show.

This was hands down the best show i've ever been to, by any band. It was more than I could have ever expected, and was like a total out of body experience. I really hope there will be a dvd like AATCHB documenting this arena tour. And on a seperate note, the stage, lighting, and images were incredible. Again, best show ever.

well, where I was, the people were booing bush. guess it depends on what you were able to hear from those around you. i guess me and my peeps hate the man. nothing like having 12 friends all in one accord.

the show was awesome, only one complaint.. the crowd was extremely calm compared to the st. louis show i went to, so many people seemed like they weren't into it (this is on the floor too) and not having fun. thats why i didn't feel bad when i shoved everybody out of my way to get closer to where people were actually getting into it. i also felt like i was the only person cheering at times.. kind of an odd feeling. oh well nails was still awesome and i had a good time.

Pretty good show. DFA79 were awesome and QotSA were impressively good. NIN were excellent as expected.

Kickass show, sad that I won't be able to see anything like it for a while.

Great show. It didn't top the two Tabernacle dates, but those were my first NIN experiences and it'll take a lot to top them.

DFA was great. I hated Queens. I plugged my ears the whole set just so I could make out the lead guitar, and it was still boring. I'm a big Kyrus fan and it's disappointing that Queens is all that's left of that great band.

I was on the rail in front of Jeordie. The girl to the right of me didn't sing a single word the entire time. Makes me wonder why she waited so long for a rail spot + joined the fan club. The guy to the left of me knew Closer and Head Like A Hole and that's about it. Some people behind me knew a few songs but for the most part my area was so calm I felt slightly embarassed for giving it my all.

I saw wenelda get the signed litho, and felt that she deserved it with her custom Heresy shirt and all.

Jeordie does get into the performance, he just does it in crazy ways and saves his energy. He posed for a picture someone behind me took, and sang along to Wish. He enjoys the shows.

Trent slammed it home as usual. A+

I can't ever hear Aaron's guitar, but he looks like he's doing a good job.

Good costumes all around.

thats nuts the crowd sucked around you guys, i was on aarons side and the crowd was pretty into it close to the front, i dont know what it was like in the back but we had a pit going most of the show, everyone around me seemed to know all the songs, everyone was having a good time, i made sure to look and see cause i had heard a lot of the shows were dead like you guys were sayhing this show was, but anyway, i had a great ass time. and to answer about trent throwing candy, someone threw a bag on stage and you could tell it pissed him off and he picked it up and threw it into the crowd, i was waiting for him to say something but he didnt, i dont know if it was just the live version but he did fuck the lyrics up right when that happened, but anyway im still on a high from this show and my ears have yet to stop ringing.

Ears are still ringing here too. Hahah.. What a show. If it means I lose all hearing in one ear, then fine, it was worth it. Hehehe

the area was pretty mild. girls to my right weren't doing ANYTHING. if they were singing anything, i didn't hear them. girls to the right of the tall guy weren't doing anything either. which was pretty pathetic. shit..i would've enjoyed that rail spot :\ i was jumping. yelling/singing/dancing my little heart out and as much as my body could stand. i am still sore all over, specially my legs. ouchie. but i would do it over and over again. hell, take my legs! i don't care.

overall, i LOVED the concert. was a beautiful magical just kick ass experience for me. it still kind of seems unreal to me.

Anyway, remember me... I was standing next to you and your friend in line all fucking day. I'm Lisa (with the purple shirt and black sweater) and Alice (with the Trentatubby shirt) was next to me. You're so damn lucky to get that signed and get on the rail... you're not even a spiral member. I saw all that going down and I had already been planning to get Sweeny to do it for me since he remembered me from the Atlanta show but he never came back around my section until Nails went on stage and by then he was too busy. Oh well, Porkchop got me a pick!!

I sang along with every song. That stupid blonde bitch with the cute little red horns (that got pulled out by crowd surfers... she was dumb to wear them) standing b/t me and Taylor should have backed the fuck out. She didn't seem that into it but she kept trying to push me to the side so she could get my spot in front of Trent but I stayed where I was, mua ha ha.

i didn't have much of a choice since i was smashed up against the railing. i tried to get the security guard to let me leave it out of the pit, but then people started moshing right over us so that wasn't safe.

but yeah, i remember you. i thought the people on that side seemed a bit crazier since that's where most people were getting moshed out of. heh.

How did she get that spot without being a Spiral member? I'm going to the Philly show and I don't have Spiral tickets, and would love to know so I could try it out.

Yeah, just go there early and find the spiral entrance. There will be people there as early as 8-10am. You might luck out and find a spiral member that doesn't have a guest but just wait and talk to the people for awhile. She was there early... before me and I got there at 10:30am and was 5th in line.

You're right Wenelda, I forgot that the merch people just handed the lithos to us without them being rolled up with a rubberband like the other shows. But you could have protected it better by just rolling it up and holding it over the rail. I had to hold my poster tube over the rail anyway because of the push. But anyway, you should get it framed as soon as possible. You can get a black 18x24 frame at wal-mart for 10 bucks that looks awesome with the lithographs.

Has anyone talked about Trent molesting the mic stand? That was awesome!! I can't remember which song it was.

Don't they have to order two tickets beforehand in their name, and then give one to their guest? Or can they just say "He has a GA ticket but he's my guest." and they'll stamp me? At least I'll meet some neat people regardless. Thanks for the information.

they didn't even ask to see her ticket. from what i remember, she just mentioned i was her guest (or maybe i piped up that i was?) and i got the stamp. i already had a ticket for the floor anyway, so that wasn't a big deal. i think you have to get with someone who has a ticket for the same section you do. i'm really not sure, though, and i'm sorry i can't help out more.

Finally saw my first NIN show in Nashville. Freakin' amazing! I was in awe and still am. I tried talking my husband into driving to DC for last night's show, but with work we couldn't. He did consider it though. I just really hope & pray that I don't have to wait 5 or 10 years for another. I'm totally spoiled now. Nothing compares to that experience for me. The sound was amazing. I did get a few good pics from the crappy cameras we had. I should have brought my digital. Still, I have a few good ones.

And yes, another one depressed because it's over. We actually put in the AATCHB dvd Tuesday when we got home just to get something. Back to life's routine....sucks.

Concert was great! Hope they come somewhere close to me again next year.

No, it doesn't matter what section you're in. Someone took some dude off the street that had a ticket in as their guest and Brandi was cool with that. It does not matter who you are or whether your ticket matches with the person. If they say you are their guest then you get a stamp and can go in.

Yes, I'm bummed it's over but wow, I waited 12 years to see NIN and I got to see 3 shows in 5 months. Now I'm looking forward to '06 tour!!!

I have to say, that was my first true concert i have ever been to. Im 15. Most of my life when i was 8 my mom dragged me to some faith hill shit and some other country music singers. When i lived in boston, i saw u2 but i was 4 and don't even remember it.
When i went to this show i was like holy shit. That was unbelievable. it was unbelievable. Right Where it belongs, Head Like A Hole, March of the Pigs (where are my pigs out there? here piggy piggy piggy. LOL) I had the best time of my life at that concert.

I recored the Nashville show was wondering if anyone had a extra litho they would like to trade for the recording or I could just give you $20 straight up. I was too poor at the show to get one

Yes, I'm bummed it's over but wow, I waited 12 years to see NIN and I got to see 3 shows in 5 months. Now I'm looking forward to '06 tour!!!

anyway, yeah, when NIN comes back through my friend and i are probably going to hit a few more shows. it really depends on where they go, though. but if they hit nashville and st. louis then we'll definitely go to those. it just depends on work/class schedules and things.

The show was awesome. I wish the would release the visuals on dvd or something. I, the guy with the Alex grey shirt, was on the floor also It rocked. The music put me into some kind of trance or something. This was my first NIN show. It was difinatly the best concert I've ever been to.
