Mmk, another post of more ramblings of the show. I only had 15 minutes to write that last one.
Oh, so me, my friend, and my dad all showed up at about 10:20 am. I must show pride in my dad for going to this show with me, agreeing to stay in line with us for 8 hours, and staying in the pit almost as long as I did.

. He now understands slightly more of why I'm obsessed with this silly band.
Another thing I loved was how sweaty Trent immediately was, and how he'd rub his head and his hair would just...stick up. Aww.
I loved how the Dresden Dolls went, because I expended almost no energy, besides singing the lyrics, so I saved more energy for the Wish opener.
I'm so mad I had to be pulled out before Reptile. I never would have made it to that point up there anyway, but I can pretend I could. God...I was really looking forward to that too. But it's all ok. Touching Trent makes it ok,

.
It was fun seeing Jeordie, after the show, and he just walks by all us in the back of the parking lot. That chick asked him for a hug and he's like "NO! Sorry, I have to go!!!" and runs away on his cell phone. But a bunch of people met him at Chili's with Aaron anyway.
It was awesome seeing Rob and Leo and Chuck. And when that girl screamed to Rob "I LOVE YOU ROB" and he glances sneakily back and forth...then he quickly does the "eating out" gesture. hahaha.
Wow, I didn't talk much about the dresden dolls in my last post, so yes. Now.
Brian was awesome, as expected. Amanda kicked ass, me and my friend saw the "crotch light" set up and we were like "haha, the crotch light."
My friend is absolutely in love with the Dresden Dolls, so she was just..in heaven during that whole time. Amanda chugged almost a whole bottle of water, then she threw it and it got all over me, and some on my friend.
It was awesome that they were in the lobby after the show to sign crap. Very cool.
I understand how people were saying how...finally seeing NIN, and it just...feels like you're watching a video of the performance, except you can't breathe!
That person who posted the setlist is semi-off. Here's what I clearly remember, Because I knew THTF was 4th, I kept thinking "why isn't this a slower song" and "why is he playing it so early in the setlist?" and then after SICNH I was finally catching my breath..and I hear Trent and his damn mumblings about pigs. I was like "Dammit!" But it was awesome.
Wish
Sin
The Line Begins to Blur
The Hand that Feeds
Something I Can Never Have
March of the Pigs
Terrible Lie
Burn
Closer
Home
Even Deeper
Reptile
Love is Not Enough
Suck
Gave Up
The Day the World Went Away
Hurt
Starfuckers, Inc
Head Like a Hole
^^ correct setlist.
Hmmm...I really wish I could have gone today. It would be impossible though, I don't have a ride...or tickets, for that matter, haha. Oh well. I'll hear about it.
Oh, Ashley, that girl who emailed me, if you do read this, were you the ashley who was up front with us? As we all talked about being accidently molested/groped? Because it had completely left my mind that an ashley who was 21 was talking to us, and I had forgotten to ask if they were the ashley who was 21 who was there by herself! Yes.
My neck is becoming slightly sore, but that's only from Starfuckers headbanging.
Yeah, and those 2 cool people I semi-danced with for pretty much the second half of the show in front of the sound booth-thing. You guys were cool.
Oh god, I almost cried during Hurt, for the sheer...cliche-ness of it. Everyone singing with Trent...with just him and the keyboard...the lighters...the feeling. It was great.
Oh! another thing that was priceless was seeing Trent smile up close. Mostly when dudes would shout "DUDE! FUCKIN' TRENT REZNOR MAN!! I LOVE YOU TRENT!!"
I was relieved to see how his now gigantic muscles do in fact work for him. I would become afraid with some pictures...but seeing him up close...it all works. He's still that sexy Trent.
I was amazed at how...perfect he looked. Just staring at his arms, and how you could see his eyes. Fascinating.
It was also fascinating how mechanical my brain would become. Like when I was touching Trent, my mind literally said "...You are now touching Trent Reznor." and in my head I was like "yes...yes I am." haha.
I think the only think that actually hurt my voice at all is all the smoke I was around all day. Not used to that, but it was fully expected.
Then after the show we stayed around the back with like, 15 other people. Like, one minute after we got there Jeordie comes busting through on his cell phone very much in a hurry. Some blonde chick asked him for a hug, and some other guy was like "Just one autograph!" But Jeordie was like "No!SorryIambusyinahurrybye *runs off into parking lot*" We waited an hour, though I did see when Trent zoomed onto the tour bus, I told myself it wasn't him, or that he'd be back. But no, 20 minutes later all the buses left. Dude, that venue owner is a bitch, man. *sigh* Ah well.
It was an amazing time, and I can't wait until my next NIN show. Hooray!
Until the fall, then!
