Awesome show!!!!!! The crowd seemed into it, I wouldn't know this was my first NIN show. Did it end weird though. It seemed like there wasn't an encore. He was playing without stopping and then went straight to HLAH and the lights went out and it was over. I don't know but I need a setlist for tonight!

That setlist sounds right to me.

Fucking amazing show. I was right up against the rail to the right of the stage. The microphone stand Trent threw landed literally right in front me, and hit the security guard. I had a perfect view.

I was somewhat disappointed that we didn't get "Hurt," but I was pleasantly surprised at getting to hear Love is Not Enough and The Day The World Went Away.

Anyway, fucking great show. If anyone's got pictures or videos, please share them.

Great show... the first song after the show was Brainiac - Fresh New Eyes... A pretty cool song imho.

Eraser was awesome... as was burn, gave up, TDTWWA.

I thought the opening band was pretty good. I was entertained.

I can't believe it's all over...

I want to go to the cincy show!

Traz's setlist is 100% accurate, I can vouch for that.

The opening band was...ok. They sounded fine, but that indie/dance rock stuff really doesn't translate well live. They just seemed so bored and indifferent on the stage, and their set just dragged on (very low-energy). The lead singer even made some comment like "I know, we're not the band you came here to see" or something like that.

Well this was my first NIN show on the floor...and I had mixed feelings. I was just to the left of center stage, two or three people back from the rail. Honestly, it really wasn't a good experience. There was a dude that was really, really high behind me, and him and his friends just wanted to start shit. They said "it's a Nine Inch Nails show, of course there's going to be moshing!" Well, this wasn't moshing. This was them pushing us towards the front as hard as they could, so we were all being squashed. Plus, if they wanted to mosh, there was a mosh pit less than 5 or 10 feet behind them. But no, they wanted to be dicks to the rest of us who were just trying to enjoy the show. I know a certain level of intensity is expected on the floor, but this was just ridiculous.

It was only bad the first half though, the second half (after RWIB) they eased up, so it was much better.

I honestly don't remember how a lot of the songs sounded, because I was so distracted by those guys. What I do know is that the band really didn't seem into the show. The support people, especially Jeordie and Alessandro, looked BORED more than anything. Not as high energy as I expected.

Don't get me wrong though, it was still a damn good show. "Head Like a Hole," "Every Day Is Exactly The Same," and "Even Deeper" were all fantastic. I was happy to see more from The Fragile played this time around.

Oh, and Aaron stage diving was cool, as was Trent's little story about how he was close to suicide right before he wrong EDIETS, but music is what saved him.

I can't say much about Jeordie because he was furthest from me, but I was directly in front of Aaron and he didn't seem bored whatsoever to me. He was always running back and forth, jumping off of stacks, slinging his guitar around, kicking and stomping, etc.

By the way, when Trent threw the microphone stand during March of the Pigs, it landed right in front of me. Best moment ever. It hit the security guard standing right in front of me in the hand and it scared the shit out of him. He had no idea what had just happened.

And when did Aaron stage dive? I remember him throwing his guitar out into the audience, but unless he did it over on Jeordie's side I must've missed it. I was right in front of him, like I said, and I didn't see that at all. Besides, there was at least a 4-5 foot gap between the audience and the stage. I'd be impressed if he could make that leap.

I don't remember exactly, but I know he did. It was kind of in the middle of the stage if I remember correctly. Which song it was in I couldn't tell you, does anyone else know? I was impressed by the leap, it was awesome.

Oh, and for those wondering, there was no soundcheck or meet-and-greet. You could hear the soundcheck songs from the spiral line though...I know they played "Piggy" and "The Big Come Down," and I think they played "Mr. Self-Destruct" and "The Line Begins to Blur" as well. Not that that matters since we didn't get to see it, but hey, it's worth mentioning that they can play "Piggy."

This was my first NIN concert. I've only been a fan since With Teeth came out. NIN easily became my favorite band. Anyway, the Moving Units played and they were a lot better than what I was expecting. NIN started with the badass Pinion opener then started Mr. Self Destruct and went into Sin. It's probably the greatest concoction of opening songs to ever exist. Everyone seemed kind of zoned up in the stands (where I was). The floor looked pretty wild. They had to take 3 people out on stretchers. The band was great. Kudos to Mr. North for his awesome stage presence. He dove into the crowd during MOTP. Some songs that really stood out were Mr. SD, Burn, Eraser, RWIB, Wish, Even Deeper, EDIETS, and TDTWWA. I was pretty bummed that there was no Hurt, since it was my first NIN show and haven't seen it before. I guess Trent's still mad about getting hit with the lighter or whatever. We got Suck and TDTWWA though, so I was happy.

Was it just me, or was Aaron's guitar fucked up in one of the songs? Closer or Wish I think, when he was trying to do some distorted playing. I was kind of disappointed by The Big Comedown, but I'm not a big fan of that song to begin with. New respect for Even Deeper though.
After they played EDIETS, Trent talked about how he was in a phase of almost killing himself before writing the song. He talked about how he was happy to be involved with music.

In the end, it was an amazing experience to witness my favorite band give a damn fine performance. It was definitely the best concert to which I've been. Plus a security guard on the floor got nailed in the back of the head with a drink. That really sucks for him, but it was still funny.

Amazing show, I enjoyed the whole set from top to bottom. I got a good laugh at the guys outside the show bootlegging t-shirts lmao, There security or whatever was chasing after them and they were still tyring to sell shirts, haha. Great time

It only got bad for me during Head Like a Hole when everybody wanted up front all of a sudden and some guy was shoving his arm into my head. And then when the guitar and drumsticks started flying, I almost fell because everyone was so close and shoving into each other.

Overall, this was a pretty incredible show. I love the opening, Pinion and Mr. Self Destruct were a great choice and pretty much blew the crowd away right from the start. The stage dive was cool, even though I wasn't sue what was going on at first because I was too short to see. I missed the mic stand thing completely somehow though. It was pretty crazy, there were a few people who had to be lifted out and taken off on stretchers. And one girl who was drunk and had to leave before the opener had started.

I think the band must have taken over the immediate area for a while. Before the show, there were guys walking around with "Need Tickets" signs around their necks and I saw one transaction in progress. Then afterwards, there were guys in the road selling NIN shirts. I'm surprised they didn't get hit, they were right on the lines in the middle of the road hawking shirts.

Were you one of those two short girls that my friend (the tall skinny kid) let in front of him? I saw that they were pretty crushed and roughed up, hope that wasn't you. Probably. I was the one in the white t-shirt with short dark hair and my friend was in a grey sweater beside me. I did ask if I could get in front of a taller guy because my face was in his shoulder blades and I couldn't see the stage. Hope he didn't mind. Were you the two in the blue NIN shirts? We did get crushed a lot, I was kind of worried that I might overheat or something and have to be pulled out, but fortunately, it never came to that. I'm glad security was giving out water, they were great!

I had pretty much enough room to kind of jump up and down and every once and a while I could get a hand up. I felt bad for the girl in front ofme, because my arms were smashed into her back for pretty much the entire show. I kind of got used to it after a while though and wouldn't have traded the spot for anything though. I'm amazed I got so close since we didn't really get there very early and I'm not in the Spiral or anything (didn't join 'cause I assumed NIN would never come to KY, whoops).

Pretty intense considering that's the first concert I've ever really gone to.

i've been critical of some of the later nin albums, but trent still knows how to put together a kick ass live act, imho they just keep getting better.

loved the punched up live versions of the newer stuff, hell loved everything they played w/ semi excetions of line begins to blur and the big comedown.

excellent use of graphics, lights, video ect. perfect - loved right where it belongs maybe the high point of the show for me.

did sort of miss the drawn out pinion opener - likely trent's bored w/ it by now - it's still my fave into track ever.

honestly didn't notice the other band members much as was paying more attention to trent and not getting squashed like a few of the other posters wasn't quite sure how aaron could keep a grip on the guitar the way it was flying around...

suprising that hurt wasn't played - though i didn't miss it (having seen them play it live on the past tours.

everything seemed punchier then on prior tours (self destruct & fragility) and sounded less like the studio versions.

only thing i can bitch about was the general lameness of the tour merch, and it's been awhile since i've seen an area act (i prefer club shows, and bands that frankly couldn't fill an arena) still for 30 bucks that ought to be one badass shirt and they didn't seem to be. first time i've ever walked away empty handed fom a merch table.

still wondering what the moving units were doing on this leg of the tour, if i focused on the drums & bass they were ok, but the vocals and guitar seemed to blend into one big aural mush that reminds me of jim carey's most annoying sound ever. that sounds meaner then it ought to - maybe that's just me not being familliar w/ them or their songs.

i sorta felt bad for those guys by the end of their set, had the crowd been more into them, or if i was seeing them in a club / bar i think they would have been better.

That's part of arena events man. If you think it was rough in Lexington, you should have been to show in Nashville on Halloween. I fell and so many people fell with me, it was scary. I thought it was going to be something like the Who all over.

But yeah, you just have to tough it out. It's not a fun experience sometimes, but that's just part of the floor.

I thought the floor was great. There were a few exceptions where folks were pushing for position too much, but you could still get in some good jumping around, even as close as 3/4 people back from the rail. Much better than the Milwaukee show where you couldn't move at all as everyone was just pushing forward the whole show and you couldn't move.

It was odd that there was no initial push - thought it may make for a lame show, but the crowd kicked in rather quickly once they started.

I went to the show in D.C. in November - doesn't hold a candle (or a lighter perhaps) to last night's show. I never imagined they'd let us bring cameras in, so I'm glad mine was in the car. I probably pissed off the people I was sitting near because I was snapping pictures and shooting video for half the show. I'll try to post some later.

I was in Section 28, Row D (pretty far from the stage), but even from that distance, I thought the band was really high-energy. Jeordie's stage dive caught me by surprise, as did Trent's little post-EDIETS speech. Most of the people I went with were unfamiliar with the NIN live show and didn't realize how rare it is for him to speak to the crowd. I taped only part of Trent's monologue before my camera battery died.

Did anybody record it?

My sympathies to those in the pit; for a lot of people it's great fun, but I'm too short and shovable, so for me it's not worth it. What the fuck was going on with all those people being removed on stretchers? Did anybody score one of those water bottles Trent was hurtling into the crowd? Speaking of which, I saw the security guard get beaned in the back of the head with a water bottle; hats off to someone in section 29 (I think): nice aim.

Somebody already posted that the merch sucked, and I whole-heartedly agree. I really wanted a tour poster, or the tour photo book that was supposed to be available. As the traffic on the way back to the interstate trickled slowly between scavenging t-shirt hawkers, we rode beside a white limo for a little while. It appeared to be headed toward the Radisson. Anyone happen to know how Trent & Co. usually travel after the show? (I know it probably wasn't them, but hey, a girl can dream.)

What a great night.

I ended up picking up eight floor tickets so my wife, myself, and six other friends could go. The tickets we bought were taken pretty quickly, as it's not often a band of this caliber makes it to little ol' Lexington! One of the ladies I work with bought tickets for her and her husband, so we decided that we should all meet out somewhere, grab a few beers, some food, then head to the show. We met at the local watering hole (Cheapside Bar & Grill), ate, drank, and headed to Rupp Arena for the show.

We missed about half of the opening act, but from what I heard of them, I wasn't too unhappy about that. It's not that they were bad, just not my kind of music. They didn't seem to have any energy on stage and were just kind of blah... but hey, that's not who were were there to see.

All of that nonsense was forgotten when NiN came on stage. They nailed "March of the Pigs", "The Day the World Went Away", "Even Deeper", and "The Hand That Feeds". I was completely stoked that they actually played the complete song "Beside You In Time" - I never thought I'd hear that one in concert! "Wish" was great too, one of my personal favorites.

A couple of things bothered me, though. They seemed to completely bone "Only", which was dissapointing. I'm also not sure what to think about Reznor's political motivations that seem to be seeping into his music... I mean, he did a PETA commercial for fuck's sake. The whole hating Bush, hating war, hating animal cruelty is something new from him, and will take a while to get used too, I suppose. Hey, as long as he keeps singing about hating god, hating himself, and hating everyone else, it works for me. Also, he couldn't sell the place out, which amazed me. Not that many seats were on sale - Rupp Arena's not that big. Hopefully that won't impact a decision about coming back in the future, but I'm afraid it will. I still feeling like Lexington was a scheduling fluke anyways. Heh. Oh, and I can't believe that I went to a NiN concert and didn't hear Hurt. Wasn't really upset about it, but it's worth mentioning.

We saw them on their original tour in Altanta at the Tabernacle. That show was simply amazing, and we were extremely lucky to get tickets - from what I heard, it sold out in under ten seconds. The energy and power behind that show was unmatched, but this was almost as good. I wish I could go see them tonight in Cincinnati, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen. Damn work.

No. The tall guy that you got in front of (who was wearing the blue NIN shirt) was my friend, and so was the skinny girl in the blue NIN shirt. I have two good (but pretty short) videos that have good video quality but pretty bad sound quality, it was too hot for my camera's sound recorder. My friend got a water bottle from Trent, and my other friend got a piece of Aaron's guitar (the only piece not taken back by security, I think).

I looked through my pictures...most of them didn't turn out because of bad lighting and because I couldn't get a steady camera shot. My friend got some pretty good ones, I might post them later. This is one of the better ones.

Anyway, I can't write much on things (Lexington or Cincinnati), I know I am going to write a big novel review on this and I have tests to study for, but I did want to take a moment out to thank two ETSers I met here.

To April... I just wanted to say thanks for approaching me as I was coming from the bathroom there, I seen you several times prior and I thought that might have been you (by your avatar pic there), I wasn't sure whether to approach you or not and ask if that was you... plus I'm super shy to begin with *^-^*. It was a real pleasure to meet you, you are super nice and a class act, an ideal Nine Inch Nails fan!

To Kim... I'm super glad you made it and had a great time, I was looking specifically for you for a long long time. Thanks for keeping in correspondence with me for the past 3 months, here's hoping that we can meet up in the future for more NIN or whatever else comes our way ^-^.

I remember that a little differently, as we were the ones you guys were trying to skip. It's not too cool when three or four people come trying to skip you after you've been waiting for this concert since 5:30. It just pisses me off when people who haven't been waiting nearly as long (that's you) are arrogant enough to walk up and skip everyone else who were there hours before the doors even opened (that's us).

I don't remember that going so smooth as you're saying it did, but whatever. Next time, have some respect for the rest of us, and don't come up and spilling your beer (that's how I remember it, because you spilled it on my friend's shirt) all over us right before the show starts.

I asked the lady for a beer and she asked for six bucks. I gave her the whole $11. I figured they are probably the least paid people at the event. And thats just how I am.

So I walk back down to the floor trying not to spill the $11 beer. I find my brother and sis, and she is excited and wants to get as far up front as possible. I tell her she has to push her way to the front and that she should take the lead. We start moving up pushing through until you couldn't possibly push any further without climbing over somebodys back. And we stop.

Here is where it gets good...

I take a sip of the beer and I hear someone behind me say. "Getting the fuck outta my spot is your best plan of action right now!"

I slowly turn my head and reply "excuse me?" He grabs me by my shirt and moves me back behind him where we stare each other down chest to chest. This part of the show was Amazing on so many levels. The screen came down showing cells dividing and progressed as the song progressed to more complex organisms...It showed flocks of birds schools of fish and then it cut to monkeys fighting. And then it showed the US military. And showed images of Iraqi childern with their faces blown off and images of mangled bodies. Images of severe pain, suffering, cruelty...the screen told its own story.

(NOTE) Trent is singing in the background saying
"And if you look at your reflection is that all you want it to be?
What if you could look right through the cracks?
Would you find yourself--
Find yourself afraid to see?"

At this point I am in complete tears...and from talking to alot of my friends they were too. You couldn't help but to be...But as the tears streamed down my face the Marine that was still in front of me turned away from the screen and looked at me and saw that I was crying...I nodded at the screen as if saying "Why can't you look at the screen...are you afraid of what you might see?" He dropped his head down again....and that was that.

For myself and many of my friends that part of the show was the highlight of the night.

Any thoughts??? Amazing experience or was I just baked outta my head?

Pretty much he said that while singing "Everyday Day Is Exactly The Same" he found himself daydreaming to a time when he wanted to kill himself, but it was his love of music, making it and listening to it, that ultimately saved his life and kept him alive. He also said that the record company called him earlier to tell him that EDIETS had went to number one on the modern rock track chart (but he added fuck it and some other choice words in the phrasing.) He also added that it wasn't helping sell his cd, at which point I thought about buying it on release day, which I'm sure many other fans did as well. So then everyone started cheering and he stated that he didn't talk much between songs and ended by saying that he wouldn't disappoint, and of course, he didn't disappoint.

It's quickly surpassed all the other shows I've seen to become my favorite. Lots of good energy. I had hoped to hear, "Hurt" but hopefully there will be another chance. I hope that not selling out Rupp will affect his decision to return in the future. I can't belive NIN can't sell out Rupp Arena when shitty people like Gretchen Wilson and Kenny Chesney continue to sell out. It makes me gag.

I hope that helped. I had to paraphrase, but that's what I remember from his speech. Elaborations anyone?

I'm with everyone else on hoping the band comes back to Lexington...I was surprised that there were so many empty seats - considering this is the first time they have stopped here, I'd have figured folks would have come out of the woodwork to catch the show.

Even for a less-than-full house, the energy there was off the hook - I had no problems with the show seeming "abbreviated," because considering they tore through that setlist with NO intermission, I can't imagine how they'd have had the energy for an encore. I missed not hearing "Hurt" as well - but the stuff I would never have expected to hear live in a zillion years, specifically "Burn" and "Suck," more than made up for the absence of the "traditional" closer for them. It started on a high-energy note, and ended on a high-energy note - it took me hours to unwind after I got home.

Reading the pit stories here makes me more than happy to have been up in section 14...had an excellent view of the stage, although, my right ear is STILL ringing

I was to the left of the stage in the pit, about 10-12 people back and I was wondering if anyone saw the girl being pulled by security towards the beginning of NIN's set. She was taken along with a bald man and two other girls who were there with her. I ask because it seemed to me that they were doing nothing wrong. If anyone knows the circumstances it would be greatly appreciated.

My favorite song was "March of the Pigs." The energy during that one performance almost made my head explode. Does anyone have audio of this song or any other songs?

Did anyone notice stupid people cheering as the army man ignited his flame thrower during the video segment of the set? I mean it was obvious that it wasn't supposed to be triumphant, so why did so many people cheer death? Are people missing the message behind "Right where it Belongs"? Oh well, maybe I'm the only one who is not completely ignorant.

Overall it was a good show, but as usual many of my peers have ruined what could have been a perfect experience. Maybe this explains why the last concert at Rupp was probablly Gretchen Wilson or some other stupid sh*t.

That show fucking owned. This is my seventh show since last year and aside from the Atlanta Spring tour, this was the best one I've seen. As mentioned before, Trent and Co. were definitely into it and he was chatty on this one. I dont know about the seating areas but the energy level of the pit was mindblowing. Some guys even broke out into a circle pit at the end of Beside You In Time--which was strange.

For those who were complaining or surprised of moshing or pushing carrying on down there, news flash, youre on the floor area of a rock concert. Its to be expected. Hell, there were even crowdsurfing and moshing posts on the walls of the lobby. And it wasnt even that bad. Im a girl all of 5 foot even standing in front and I took it. Besides the pit helped out whoever wanted to leave. Anyhow, there were mosh-free areas on the floor.

The setlist was awesome. I must admit I was NOT sad that they didnt play Hurt, SICNH, or DS. I wanted to see the Cincinnati show but Meat Beat and Thrill Kill was playing the same night. Oh well gonna catch them again when they come to Greenville baby!!

Nope your not the only one...Honestly...I think the cheering was an audio trick. If you listen to the CD you hear cheering right at that exact same moment. I think its put in there to make you feel like you were surrounded by complete mindless idiots...and by the sound of some of these post and threatening emails I've received, Trent wasn't very far off with his assumptions. Beautiful song.

It was probably the real audience. I think there were some people around me cheering it. I also remember a few cheering during Trent's speech when he mentioned he had been suicidal. So I think we just had some dumb ones in the crowd.

Looking forward to more audio and maybe some video!

You have brought on the posts and emails with your own mindless idiot actions at the concert. I was the one that originally challenged your attempt to snake into the crowd before you were then approached by the guys behind me that you mentioned in an earlier post.

If you chose to get drunk/high before the concert, that's your choice, but don't be an arrogant bastard trying to fight everyone. If you want to make your way up through the crowd, that's fine - but once challenged, know your place and retreat, as you know you are in the wrong. Trying to intimidate folks is not going to work, and it certainly didn't this night. I wish idiots like you would just stay away all together so the rest of us that don't need to be high to enjoy Trent's work can do so without having to deal with idiots.

But there was nothing that could have affected this evening. Probably the best of the bunch from the 5 nails shows I've seen since last fall.

Did anyone end up with any extras of the South tour posters? Those darn things went fast - we were there an hour before the show, and they were gone. Please PM or email me if you did. Thanks.

I loved the show. One of the two friends I went with saw the Chicago show with me - different set list, of course, but I was happier with the Lexington show. Trent's little "speech" was unexpected and welcome, and it was nice to hear Mr. Self Destruct. Plus, this time I was on the floor instead of to the left the stage, so we could see what was on the screen. Good sound and a good time. Most of the roughousing seemed to take place in front of us, thank goodness. Now I'm just waiting around for the next tour!

Moving Units was allright - would have been better if the guy wasn't mumbling so much. Lose the tight pants, too. I wasn't disappointed enough to join the cheering when they mentioned they were playing only one more song, though...that's pretty rude.

Tolly Ho afterwards was almost as good...almost.

I have been to three NIN shows. That was easily my favorite show. But the opening band couldnt compare to Queens of the Stone age. I didnt like Moving Unit at all. But Trents Setlist was incredible. Pinion into Mr Selfdestruct was Awesome. Also when he talked before EDIETS. How sweet was that.

Someone asked about the girl being pulled over the rail. I was on the rail and there was a really nice couple beside the friend I was with. This girl was in the Spiral line and was so sweet and very quiet, but somewhere along the way she got totally trashed and she got behind the couple. As we were sitting on the floor in the arena, she got right in the guys face and started taunting him about taking his spot. The guy told security that they should watch her but since she had not done anything they were cool with it. When we stood up she started crying on this poor guys back and then verbally assualting him. He was an angel and was so patient with her trying to explain that we were all friends and she had a good spot and we were going to have a great time. She then took a nice bite out of his back and Rupp security called NIN security and the guy came and grabbed her over the rail. They told her to sit and sober up, but she got beligerant with them and they arrested her and carted her off to jail. She was from out of town and was to go to the Cincy show. I also wanted to post my pics so here they are.

I'm the "angel" mlrice alluded to in her previous post. Yeah, we (the people in the front row, or front line, i guess it's a perspective thing) really dodged a bullet there; that would have been a disaster had her drunk ass not been thrown out. I tried to reason with her, but she (or rather the personification of alcoholism) wouldn't have it. The show couldn't have been better... well, ok, that's a lie. I really missed reptile and the frail/the wretched but mr. self destruct made up for their absences. I'd like to thank the dude standing to the right of my girlfriend (whom we had met at a Garbage show last summer) for being so fucking cool. (If you happen to catch this post, contact me, because frankly you probably have some really cool stories i'd like to hear.) It was pretty sweet when trent talked to us and furthermore when aaron jumped on us. I really appreciate his efforts to send me home with the remains of his guitar, but the head of security guy had to be a huge dick and pry it from my hands... with any luck, he contracted syphilis later that night and is embarking on a long painful demise. That being said, i'm gonna go study for my organic chem exam tomorrow. Sorry for wasting your time with my rambling. Thanks to everyone who graciously submitted their audio/visual footage from the show. Keep on rockin...

That explains a lot. The guy in front of me was talking about how some girl had bitten him. I think I saw them pull her out, was she the one in the hat with ears on it or something?

Did you all see the person go to the meds? He was thrown on top of the mosh pit then i think his head hit the ground and he was stuck and people were moshing all around him. The guards got him out but it took two guards and some pit help. i don't know what happened to him after that.

Are the rail spots as bad as like 5 people back from the rail? Or even close to as bad? By that I mean, tough to breath. I would think that since you're on the front row you can breathe in things besides people's sweat and stuff.. a little fresh air. But does the pressure from the back kill you? It's usually hard to stand up in the pit for my girlfriend and I so I'm just wondering that.

I was at the club show in May of 2005 and was behind the person on the rail and it was kinda nuts. I think that's because it was a club tour though and everyone was a really big fan since the tickets were hard to get.

In the smash of things, I never felt your arms. I hope I was not blocking the view. Usually after a show, I feel a little sheepish about what the person behind me may have experienced while I was completely oblivous to the world.

I never know what to do with my elbows/arms when I am smashed up behind someome - would they rather elbows in their back or armpits in their face? If someone has an opinion on that let me know...

I've always found that when I've been up front that I've not really paid much attention to where arms or elbows seem to fall on me. It's been my experience that I'm too busy enjoying the show to worry about the person behind me. I don't think there's proper mosh pit etiquette as long as you shower and aren't a belligerent ass. Just don't act like you own the floor. I'm really over people who think that. Everyone pays the same amount and those in front are usually the most dedicated fans that arrive hours before showtime to secure a place up front. Don't be one of those asses that prance in 30 mintues before showtime and think you can bully your way up front. That's my only complaint when it comes to the pit. I can't tolerate those types of people at all.

I do know that crowd surfers should be more careful near the front because when they fall on your head and you are trapped beneath them and the metal railing... the lack of oxygen could be more damaging than the decibels emitting from the speakers. That's just my opinion since I have been the poor girl unable to breath on the railing.

Heh, the view was perfect for most of the show. The only time it was a problem was during Head Like a Hole when some guy was trying to shove me out of the way and kept pushing my head sideways; the view was blocked then, but it's not your fault.

I just kept my arms in front of me because (1) I couldn't move them when the crush was bad and (2) it gave me some leverage to push back when I needed to breathe.

Not necessarily Trent, it could be anyone with access to recordings. And it's just an idea. I mean, we have an unregistered member come in, link a file on yousendit.com (which is anonymous), and the file is a near perfect recording, including Trent's speech. The guy also hasn't responded to any offers of money for the rest of the show. I'm just throwing out thoughts.

Amazing performance! Better than the Cincy show, but thats not a slag against that one. Just enjoyed the energy from the crowd more. Plus, the first time seeing NIN made the difference.

I would also pay a fair price, for a recording of the same quality as the EDIETS link. So damn awesome to hear TR speak openly to the crowd.

It was a great show, and it was a great experience for me, it was my first NIN show ever, and certainly the biggest most intense and best concert i've ever been to. The show was great. I especially like Terrible Lie, Sin, Wish, EDIETS (the speech), and of course, HLAH. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Oh, and reptile1230, was it Aaron's guitar, or was it Jerodies bass? Well, regardless, I caught a piece, so I was really happy. Its in that last pic, if anyone cares...

It was definitely Aaron's guitar... and I'm definitely still bitter. I was on the rail at the Knoxville show and I saw that fuckhead security douche that stole it from me and really felt like asking him what ever happened to it, but I got lost in the performance... Ah well; it least I got a cool story to tell out of it. Furthermore, for anyone who cares, while in Knox, i ran into the cool dude i mentioned before in a previous post that was standing next to my girlfriend that got his hands torn to shreds by the strings when they pried it away from us, and his hands have since healed. However, the painful memory of being robbed will forever remain...

On a side note, one of the mic's that Trent threw out into the crowd landed right on top of my head and I blacked out for about a minute. Luckily there was a nice couple a few feet away from me who fought there way over and made sure I was okay until I could see again. That pretty much makes up for the drunken frat boys behind me that were constantly heckling Moving Units, calling them faggots and telling them to get off the stage. I don't care if you don't like their music, but there's absolutely no excuse to be an asshole about it.

No less, amazing show, my first NIN experience, and definitely not my last.

Ok guys, take this for what it's worth and don't get your hopes up (and many of you may already be aware of this), but I've been on a mission to find a damn recording of this show since 2-25. I've regularly checked just about every torrent sharing network out there and checked/joined pretty much every bootleg trading database I can find, and on db.etree.com (probably the best bootleg trading database around, for those of you that are interested) I've found a couple of traders that apparently have this show. I've sent them emails and hopefully I'll get a response from somebody soon. If all goes well and I'm able to get my hands on a recording, I'll make sure to share the wealth. I'll let you guys know as soon as I do. Keep those fingers crossed... Where's Moke???

Its only been a few months...dont give up just yet. I've seen shows surface a year or more after it was taped!! The 1st Tabernacle show reared it ugly head 6 or 7 months after the fact.
