Wow! I have the honour to be the first to write! This was my best NIN concert EVER. Trent and the band were ON FIRE!!! The were really generous compare to Montreal and Quebec"s shows. We had such a great time, people here are sooooo nice! I don"t regret coming from Montreal to see this event... I hope people who took pictures will post them here so we can keep good memories...

My 2nd NIN concert and it was awesome. No Sin or Get Down Make Love but Reptile instead. I'm not sure of the order so I just copied another set list and edited it. Hopefully it's right!

Trent didn't say much except to comment that it was fuckin hot (high was in the 90's today). The Big Come Down is awesome live I'm glad I got to hear it!

my first nine inch nails show after waiting for five years. incredible. opening with somewhat damaged blew my mind. my hands were in tingles throughout the first three songs, and at various points during the show the tingles returned. they were incredibly solid tonight, and trent even joked around after Wish about how hot it was ("it. is. so. fuck. ing. hot. in. here.")

although i can't remember all of the set list (being in shock about how i was finally seeing the show ive been waiting a long, long time for), SPAC was packed and everyone was having a great time. it was the best show of my life.

oh yeah. and the big come down live was incredible!

I didn't even recognize it, it sounded so different (in a better way) than on the Fragile. It really kicked. Also, so did Suck, I never was a huge fan of that song, but hearing it live changed everything.

You Know What You Are? really set the stage, it was great. I was looking forward to MOTP live most, but it was kinda disappointing. The lightshow really kicked, especially during Closer and Help Me I'm in Hell.

This was my first NIN show and it was so much more than I ever expected. It was my birthday, so I was hoping to catch a water bottle or the tambourine or the lucky mike...anyone here get anything? He is so beautiful in person...

for my 2nd NIN show, it was pretty damn good. Bauhaus was excellent, and I wish more people came to see them. peter was ON tonight and so was the rest of the band. I was in section 4, about 5 rows behind the pathetic mosh pit. it looked more like a VIP club to me. everyone wanted to get in there. Trent was incredible as usual, and the rest of the bad was very tight. Rob sheridan was on the right side of the stage taking pictures, and peter (of bauhaus) and the guitarist were watching on the left side. as for NIN setlist, i was kinda bummed about no Get Down Make love or Dead souls. i was looking forward to both but oh well. the factor that makes me like the 5/12/05 show at the orpheum in boston (one of the warm shows) better is basically the crowd. yeah, everyone was in good spirits and all, but a lot of people didnt know much of the music (felt like a dance club where i was sitting:which included grinding and all sorts of weird bobbing and twisting) . it kind of annoyed me that the biggest crowd responses were from Closer, Only, and THTF. but thats expected i guess. at the orpheum there was incredible energy at every second of the show, from the crowd to the band. the band was tight as hell, the visuals were pretty outstanding, the venue, meh. it felt like a hole in the side of a hill. which it was. all the people were fabulous though. a lot of vermonters went so I am proud that some people got some sense to go. im rambling, so i'll stop for now.

2nd NIN show for me and the bf, first show for my friend who went with us and all i can say is that it was amazing. down in it live blew my mind and trent messing up reptile as my other friend who went with us said "made him seem more human, which made it more beautiful" .
as for peaches and bauhaus, ill just say the bf left and got a free massage durring peaches and after hearing her, i wish i had gone too. she wasnt bad, just not what im into.
bauhaus was amazing live and peter murphy was so energetic this show.

all in all a good concert

My fourth NIN show, and definitely the best one I've been to. The pit was only Spiral members and it was fucking AMAZING. We had soooo much space we could move as much as we wanted. The setlist was perfect.

So glad I went!

ahhh, this show was an altogether different creature than the jones beach one. whereas jones beach was a more perfectly crafted show, little to no technical flubs, this one was chaotic, and therefore a tad more intense.

i originally had lawn seats, but during bauhaus' set, two pretty girls walked up to my friend and i and gave us two inside tickets, since they had acquired backstage passes. we thought they'd be lemons, but as we went inside, we were led down to section F, just six rows back from the stage more towards aaron. bless their hearts.

watching march of the pigs self destruct before our eyes was intense. first, a table of water shot into the air like a fountain. alessandro stomped on top of his keyboards, the screens shorted out- showing something that looked like fucked-up binary code for a second, and trent launched a mic and a good foot of quarter-inch cable ((which he somehow magically ripped out of nowhere)) into the crowd. amazing.

i noticed something over the past few nights that i think is worth mention. as la mer began again last night i listened carefully to the intro, and i believe it's almost precisely ADRIFT AND AT PEACE, from still, which would make the trilogy of similar sounding songs complete. i'd have to hear a bootleg for further comparison, but i think he's been playing the holy trilogy of similarly styled piano pieces.

anyway...no covers this time around, but hearing reptile in place of them was a nice treat, even though trent fudged up the lyrics. aaron shoved a broken guitar through the descending NIN gates again, but nothing shorted out this time. as corny as some folks have been calling that screen display, it sure does tie things together with a nice little bow. bam. we're nine inch nails, and we just destroyed you.

it was hot.

it was really fucking hot. at least PNC was coooool...and there seemed to be much more cleavage in nj also. *shrugs*

sixth time seeing nails.. just seems to get better every time..
trent and co. were certainly energized, and the heat did not seem to slow them down one bit..
Bauhaus was good also..
i thought that Peaches was pretty horrendous.. oh well..

This was my third time seeing NIN and as always Trent didn't disappoint. To begin with I enjoyed both the opening acts, Peaches had a lot of energy and she ran through the entire audience when she sang "Fuck the Pain Away" and got about two feet away from me and my freinds so that was pretty cool.

Bauhaus was much better live than when I had listened to their album stuff so that was a nice surprise.

NIN has always been amazing every time I've seen them and this was no different. Between the three shows I have seen just about every song I want to hear has been played, I finally heard Reptile but I was kinda disappointed with no Get Down, Make Love but whatever. The new visuals were amazing, my favorites were during Closer and HMIAIH.

The set was red fucking hot. My first live Nine Inch Nails experience, and I went with a few friends, fucking greatest night of my life. Bauhaus was amazing as well, although Peaches was pretty.... eh... on par.

Although this set list seems to be a bit different than what was actually played, and I feel like an idiot saying this on aboard filled with truly huge NIN fans, what were the songs directly before and after Gave Up? I didn't recognize them off the top of my head.

It was a good concert. Crazy place.. with college-y looking buildings outside of the actual ampitheater.. kinda weird but really neat. i was sooooooo happy i was next to people who were into songs like "burn", "the big comedown", and "suck" as much as i was...

not much else to say other than.... help me im in hell/non-entity make this a unique nin set.

burn came before gave up, help me i am in hell came afterward. i was so happy to hear burn live, along with non-entity. someone mentioned that trent fucked up during reptile.. when? i didnt notice anything. i noticed when he was grabbing the micstand and being all dramatic with it the microphone fell off at one point and his little act was ruined and he was pissed and yelled, it was funny. also, i forget which song it followed, but he smashed his guitar into the top of the mic stand and the microphone (and the clip that holds it to the stand) went flying off towards jeordie/Alessandro. i think that may have been after reptile?

re: the messed up lines in reptile: the devil/angel bits were screwy... he started the "angels bleed from the tainted touch of my caress" bit coming back from the chorus instead of the "devils speak..." bit, realised his mistake, and yelled some unintelligable swear into the mic as the riff came back in. he resang the line properly afterwards.

That was quite embarassing, because I used to think I was a pretty big NIN fan, but I didn't recognize Help Me I Am In Hell, Burn, and Non-Entity... I feel like a dick.

They seemed to destroy a lot of stuff, too. Was it all techincal stuff or was a lot of it just for show? I never even considered the fact that it could be because it wasn't working right.

When I first saw the cage thing in front, I was thinking "shit, are they reall going to block off the stage?". I think the special effect displays really made the show. I forget which song it was during, but I loved the part where the one section of it was down and it looked like it was filling up with red water, and then the blue vines looked amazing as well, especially when they completely wiped clean to show the band again. And the blinkiung Trent silhouette against the bright red backdrop.... I'm getting carried away here. All of it was great.

And for the record, if I ever realised I was a homosexual... my feeling for Trent Reznor would make a lot more sense. He's a hot piece of man.

Well all I have to say is that security sucked ass at this show and we werent even allowed to stand "elsewhere" near our designated seats and no drinks allowed inside WTF is that all about? we couldnt leave the gates and come back in either, The beer line was longer than most venue event lines and the security presence was overwhelming. I was so excited for the show that I forgot my tickets (I felt like a retard) and I called ticketmaster, kaufmanns, about 4 reps from ticketmaster.com and SACS too...they all said tickets you buy with cash arre like losing money and cannot be responsible for loss...I was sooo fn depressed. I went to the boxoffice where they were still selling tickets and my friend "that remembered his" had the 3rd ticket I bought all together with mine and I asked if the box office could just match up that the numbers next to the seats shown on his tickets were the ones I paid for and he was on the phone for about 5 minutes and he handed me my tickets, I was amazed that he actually wanted to help and really beleived what I was telling him I was happy and complete again. It was cool cause it was a different NIN experience than rochester but goddamn the curtains are so much better than that gate....BTW did anyone notice when the blood was dripping down it seemed to cascade off of trent when he crouched over That was my fav part besides "NON ENTITY"

Kudos to the kind people working in the SACS box office, peaches, and my friends for having patience and helping me recover my tickets.

Did anyone get the Saratoga poster, the $20 one? Is it just mine, or is everything slightly warped sideways, leaving only SARATOGA PERFORMI as the venue, and fucking up the logo?

Because with bands like NIN it's hard to tell if t's fucked up or if it's designed like that...

I didn't care for Bauhaus like I thought I would.As for Peaches,I didn't dig her that much until I saw her perform.She's pretty cool.(very Joan Jett,70's rock chick)

I got one and it's designed like that. You can see all the tour posters at http://www.nin.com/tour/index.html . Some of the other venue's names are screwed up similarly.

Thanks, I wasn't sure whether it was just the dsign, and apparently it is. Cool, I'll frame it with my stubs, wooo. Are there pictures of the tour shirts anywhere? Friend of mine wanted to see what I got and I'm far too lazy to take a picture.

We drove 6 hours to come to Saratoga Springs and it was worth it. What an energy!!! I had already seen NIN in Quebec City in March 06 but this show was totally different. The level of intensity of Reznor was just not comparable. Probably because he was really sick apparently in Quebec (Imagine a show of NIN but with Reznor standing almost the whole show around his mike). Honestly I felt like it wasn't the same guy who was singing.

Plus:
-Intensity!!!!!!!!!
-The crowd was into it (didn't see anyone on his seat)
-Lightshows!!!!! («Non Entity» and «Help Me I'm in Hell» were amazing)
-Visuals in «Closer» were way better than in the Winter tour

Minus:
-«Something I Can Never Have» was a bit too much like Hurt (kind of the same lights, etc.)
-«Gave up» is good but personally I have heard it enough
-We waited 90 minutes at the customs to go in the US (What?? I can't find any other negative points on the show)

I think it's becuase I had such a great time, or becuase I really enjoyed the kindness of strangers I got this weekend (more or less strangers). Since I didn't pay for transportation, room, or food (for the most part) this entire weekend and got to go to the NIN show and scream my head off from the 10th row. So I worked hard to get these together for you.

I got sick of my pictures looking like crap, and I didn't like the camera phone pics people were taking (cause those i believe also look like crap) So I snuck my digital camera into the show (knowing that I wasn't in the pit). When security asked me (after the show) "Is that digital" I just quickly said no and walked away. I am leaving in 15 hours to get to Maine in tiem for the show wed, and I'm in alot of pain, and I have no voice. BUT I worked hard to get these up online.

Also, feel free to give me feedback on my pics, cause I'm always wondering what people think when they look at them. I'm working on writing a book about my concert experiences with my camera (currently going on 50 different concerts or so and I've taken my camera to many of them).

after this weekend i would hope you count us as something more than strangers =)

Great show, Peaches and Bauhaus were both really over the top in a good sorta way. NIN slayed, the sound was great, visuals were awesome. The band was playing their asses off even with the heat and humdity being as bad as it was that day. The crowd was pretty good, except for the occasional hick type. I kinda liked the little clapping bit during help me i'm in hell myself. I heard a lot of people singing along too. I couldn't have been happier with the setlist, reptile, non-entity, big comedown, into the void, la mer. woot woot.

Thank you so much for those pics Jremy, you got some really good shots. I think my favorite is number 2, heh, that steel gate thing was too cool.

Jremy511 - Thanks so much for the pictures! I was going to sneak my camera into the show, but couldn't find it on Sunday morning. Oh well...at least you managed to get some good shots.

I got to the show at the end of Peaches' set, so I can't really make any kind of a judgement about her performance. The most notable thing about her was the part where she ran off the stage and into the crowd, and at one point she was about six feet behind me and my friends, which was pretty cool. My friend, who had come to the show only to see her, totally freaked out. I had to laugh at the security guards who ran after her, because those guys couldn't look like they hated their job more. Poor dudes, I hope they got some kind of "crazy performance artist" bonus for that.

Bauhaus, was, in one word, hilarious. I can't say I enjoyed their music much, and they also had the "Queens of the Stone Age Complex" (they put on a good live show for about the first 15 minutes, then it's hellishly boring) but at least we were entertained. I really tried not to laugh when Peter Murphy was "gifting" roses to the crowd via a huge stick, or when he was doing his little arm-flapping thing, but I completely lost it when he said, "The birds are gone! CAWWW!" I think that was the best quote from the night.

Nine Inch Nails was (as always) phenomenal. I'm amazed that these people have been on the road for a year and a half and they still manage to blow me away, every time. I really don't know what I can say to express how amazing they were, because I've tried to before and I just don't have the words. I will say that my friend who came only for Peaches and her middle-aged father both said that they weren't expecting to like NIN, but they couldn't stop talking about them afterwards. I never really liked "Down In It" on PHM, but when they played it I completely flipped out, it was so good. Maybe it's the way they sped it up, or they incredible energy they showed, but it completely worked. Everyone in the band was up to their usual great form, and completely soaked in sweat. (As Trent noted, it was fucking hot!) I think the worst part about the whole thing was when I realized that this was my last NIN for...a while.

Everything about this show was fucking amazing. Trent better hurry up and put out a new album, because I miss these concerts already!

did anyone else notice the left part of the balcony were all acting like the sitting zombies. other then myself and the people i was with there didn't seem to be one person who was into it at all, it was the same way in camden, just me and my friends freaking the hell out, very confused about this....

help me i'm in hell is just about the coolest thing i have ever seen.
i don think he cut out down in it and get down make love because it was so fucking hot though.

The show was so impressive that yesterday I got tickets to Toronto this weekend.

im gonna be at the toronto show too, and i cant wait, i think my bf could do with out another NIN road trip but oh well.
also i work in a photo lab and realized that we have the ability to make 10x15s so i took a bunch of jeramys pictures and made posters out of them, if you have the opertunity to do that i suggest you do, so beautiful and they look professional quality

No problem to anyone who's thanking me for the pics. I honestly just got sick of the bad ones I was taking with the desposables. Thanks for the praise as well, I needed it after today, someone on another board was being a total dick to me when I was being nice and posting pictures from a different show I went to. Then I got home after a 7 hour drive from NH (hit the NIN show in Maine last night) to find that both my roomates have been complete asses while I was away and the house went to shit. Eh, thanks again.

PS, the license plate was one of the crowning moments of the night, I saw it and I'm like "I must have that", I'm thinking of getting the NH version if I can, else something else...maybe 9IN or something..NINSIN..that'd work.

this was my second nin show and once again they were awesome. i was in section 1 row k i think. awesome seats, couldn't complain at all. yeah, security was kind of a bitch. was annoying trying to leave, but my bro's friend's truck had screens in the back of the seats of his truck so i was watching the matrix while waiting in the parking lot

It was killer. I saw them at the Garden in November but SPAC was much better. Does anyone know the setlist?

Not like anyone will read this, but... At SPAC, while all you guys were watching Bauhaus... My friend and I watching them from the side on the stage with Trent Reznor! Woo-hoo! I must say, he is, by far, the coolest guy ever! And when we got to chill for a bit in his dressing room before they went on... perfect bliss. That's all I can say. Then we got to watch half of the Nails show from the side too IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME! We never got a chance to say thank you, though (or steal a quick hug). But, I thank him in my head everyday for being so f-ing awesome that day. Sigh...
