This show was flawless. I have seen shows from all the legs of this tour (Hammerstein, Boston, Amherst, Hartford) and this was by FAR the best show. Trent's voice sounded better, better setlist... everything about this show was so much -more- than the Amherst/Boston shows.
I'm a bit upset that they're not touring for a while... it seems that they finally hit their stride as a live band.
Highlights:
- Down In It
- Hurt (I normally dislike this song live, but after hearing it tonight, I gained new appreciation for it)
- Terrible Lie

Bravo, Trent. Whatever you're doing now, don't stop doing it.

yes, i especially enjoyed them playing lost souls, the lighting during closer (the one set of red panels), and the sheer INTENSITY and LOUDNESS of the show, throughout. i've heard them play at madison square garden right after with teeth was released, and gotta say this show was way more intense! the band was so in to it, and when they ended with head like a hole, they played it loud and it was simply phenomenal. the set was amazing!

Awesome show again! They did have some technical difficulties early on, but they fixed them rather quickly, so all was well. And apparently it's Jeordie's birthday too, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEORDIE!!

The setlist was similar to Jones Beach, but had some interesting changes. Bauhaus ended with a Bowie cover of "Ziggy Stardust" which was all kinds of awesome. Plus, the lead singer bitched out some dude that walked by, I don't really know why, but it ended with the lead singer calling him a cunt and then after the song, he was like "now that's great, I have a little bit of adrenaline" or something like that.

Trent played a similar set list, but added You Know What You Are? and a couple others. He also had a little speech to say after playing Dead Souls, but this time he filled in who the cover was from, for the youngun's in the audience and he also said that Joy Division and Bauhaus were some of his greatest influences in creating Nine Inch Nails and he's happy to be finally playing with Bauhaus. Also, he said that they'll be "going away for a while" after this tour. So who knows, maybe he'll actually be working on a new album.

Incredible show. I've been waiting 12+ years and it was as awesome as I had hoped. The light show is amazing. The dripping red screen during Closer, in front of Trent is amazing. And the sihillouette of him standing in front of it once it was full, incredible. Gave me goosebumps. Even the visuals for Help Me I Am In Hell are amazing. Every song had matching visuals. The colors and everything went perfectly. Can't imagine how thought out the whole thing really is. Would love to know how many LEDs are actually on that screen. Insane. No complaints what so ever, except for missing quite a bit of Peaches. I think she's awesome. Bauhaus was alright, I had a few songs I liked and a few I didn't. Some of their songs seem very similar. It seemed Peter Murphy had an issue with a fan giving him the finger or something, did anyone see that? He started swearing back but maybe it was part of the song. Not cool giving musicians the finger if it was in a rude manor. Weather held thank God except for some drizzle, but made for a crazy sunset and a crazy lightning show off to the side. Anyone know a Peaches and/or Bauhaus setlist? Oh and a BIG FUCKING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JEORDIE! Fuckin' incredible. Anyway, the NIN set is as follows:

Very glad to hear Something I Can Never Have, Non-Entity, La Mer, The Big Come Down & Dead Souls. Even Down In It is suprisingly incredible live. Very pleasantly suprised. NIN NEEDS TO COME TO CT MORE OFTEN!

After a few hours of sleep I can prehaps think a bit better. I also remember Peter Murphy shoving someone with his bamboo stick thingie, prolly the dude that gave him the finger. You'd think people would be able to behave considering there was no booze. I'm kinda glad. Too many people who drink at shows get way out of hand. Maybe he was pissed about it and took it out on Peter, haha. Poor Peter. Not cool in my book, even if you HATE their music. Someone commented on raising cocktails for Jeordie's birthday. It wasn't for his b-day. It was during the sound issues before or after (duh) Sin, Trent said they were having sound issues and had asked if the sound system was on. Maybe he thought we were dead, hah. He was talking about how he only sees a bunch of Connecticut people talking on their cell phones drinking cocktails. Something of the sort. Hahah, it was great. I'm still in amazment. A few issues with crowd around me. Nothing bad, just unfriendly & uncommunicative. People sitting where they shouldn't cause they dont know how to say excuse me. The usual. Oh and if you can't fit in a seat comfortably don't get one. One guy sat down and was completely in the guys next to him space, at least 6 inches, he ended up moving. Thats inconsiderate. I don't like how Somewhat Damaged abruptly starts, but great opening song. I wonder what the lack of With Teeth songs is about? Maybe this is the wrap up tour in a sense. Trent was screaming crazy during parts of March Of The Pigs, higher pitched than usual. It was great, hah. And I love the little obscenities he randomly throws in, like during only, "fucking doorway" hahaha, they're hysterical. Visuals for Sin, Non-Entity, Only and even The Hand That Feeds were also super sick. Great show all together. It was an experience. Hopefully the next time they come to Hartford they sell out. And he wasnt saying he's going away for good. He meant until after the next album is released which is already in the works. Would have loved to hear Reptile or Get Down Make Love, but can't complain. Also loved Bauhaus's cover of Ziggy Stardust. Does Peaches always run around the place like a nut? Hahaha, she's the shit. There were some empty seats in the upper corners, but I wouldn't want to sit there either, and it was a Tuesday night. A lot of ppl can't take off of work for a concert so thats understandable. One last thing, cigars smell like shit, if I have to smoke my cigarette on the lawn you have to smoke that shit stick on the lawn too. Ass. Alright I'll shut up now. Cya!

Having been my 5th time seeing NIN live, this was pretty f'ing amazing. First time at this venue.. nice all around there. I was a bit disappointed at the turnout.. but I guess that after the show last year at MSG people in NE were not too hopped up to see NIN again. Anyhow, I thought I heard "Home" in there, correct me if I am wrong. I have only heard it once before.. so I am not too familiar with it. I think this show had pretty decent setlist, the crowd certainly was energized by it.. I still would like to have heard Reptile again.. but the setlist was perfect the way that it was. Trent did not seem himself though, while his performance was flawless, he seemed like he was going through the motions... not as into it. He did drop a hint that NIN was coming to an end though... not just the touring, but the whole NIN "project" between the Bauhaus reference to the commentary at the end of the show, it gave me the impression that he is getting ready to move on to other projects that he has been involved with..

This was my second NIN show, the first having been at Jones Beach on Saturday. Both were great shows although I thought the light show at Jones Beach was a little bit more intense (could have something to do with the copious amounts of brownies we consumed beforehand...).

We actually bought our tickets yesterday. We were supposed to be on the lawn but during Bauhaus a security guy came up to everyone along the railing and told us there was a bad storm coming so we could just find whatever seats were available--no getting rained on!

Was Peaches there? We got there late and I don't recall hearing her but I was quite drunk... One last question--is it true that Bauhaus hadn't toured for something like 20 years before now?

amazing amazing amazing show. trent had soooo much energy and the set list was perfect. 1st time seeing them live and i was so happy. i coulnt even concentrate after the show cuz i kept replaying all the songs in my head!

This was my sixth show on this tour, and it was almost flawless, but it will never match the intensity of the Electric Factory show last May. Still, this show had the fewest technical problems of any of the others. I loved the red lighting during Closer and the visuals during Help Me I Am in Hell. Trent was more chatty at this show than at Camden last week, but then again, the spitter probably pissed him off last week. I was happy to get Something I Can Never Have, Hurt, and the Big Come Down, too, as they were not played in Camden. The turnout was a little low, I thought. It seemed a good chunk of the far left side of the theater was practically empty but the crowd was pretty into it nonetheless. We had quite a light show outside, too, with some killer lightning in between Bauhaus and NIN.

When Trent mentioned that it was Jeordie's birthday, he said we should raise some cocktails or something, but nobody could because there were no alcohol sales at this show. Apparently, the venue got pinched for serving minors at some other show and had its license suspended for three dates, including NIN. That sucked ass because I really could have used a couple of beers. Anyway, when Trent said that, a bunch of us just looked at each other and started laughing.

I saw/heard some of that fan incident with Peter Murphy. I heard Peter Murphy say something like, Fuck you, that's one finger, right? He was following the fan along the barrier and bitched him out further. During the song, he snagged a stagehand or security guy and was chatting to him and pointing out the fan, I assume. I saw some security guys approach the pit area (there wasn't really much of a pit), but I didn't see the guy get thrown out or anything. I thought Bauhaus rocked. Peter Murphy is the shit. After the cheering ended on their first or second song, he said something like, Woo-hoo indeed, and then he said they weren't from the U.S. or something and he said where he comes from, they say, extremely brilliant. He was quite theatrical, but not too over the top. Makes me wish I had seen them back in the day. The Ziggy Stardust cover was wicked cool.

I didn't get to see much of Peaches, but I don't think I was missing much.

Well, this was my 17th and last show of the tour (arg). I was amazed how chatty Trent was (a record imo), while the set list was almost perfect. I am still a big fan of Starfuckers and GDML - but that was minor.

I will say imo that the sound last night was the worst of the shows I saw. Trent's vocals didn't punch through the music, and it just seemed muddled over all. It probably was the venue.

Bottom line: It was a kick ass tour - loved all 17 shows - and can't wait till they come around again to support a new CD. (I was also surprised at his closing comment about not being around "for a while" - hopefully he won't make us wait another five (5) years!

Yeah, that "for a while" got me bummed. I hope it's sooner rather than later. I agree on the sound. Peter Murphy's vocals seemed too low as well, but they got better as the show progressed.

wow.. granted, this was the only show i caught, but i thought the sound was phenomonal and crystal clear! interesting.

Okay, I think I'll weigh in on the Peter Murphy event (Bauhaus I think is very overated, I saw them at Coachella and thought I liked them, but this performance sort of made me see that they take themselves rather seriously). So a jocko looking guy came in and gave Peter Murphy the devil horns rock on symbol except he also included his thumb. Murphy said its only one finger, and then the guy was confused and Murphy continued to say its only one finger, then the jocko boy gave him the finger. He continued walking along the stage and then Murphy poked him with the stick thing and I think some words were exchanged. Then Murphy called over one of his goonie lackeys who then reported to the bouncer below who then contacted his supervisor. Not sure what happened after that.

This was a great show. My sixth of this tour. I've never seen Trent so chatty in all of my shows combined and it was great. I was a little upset when he said he'd be going away for a while. I took this to mean he was gonna work on some other projects for some time. I don't think he alluded to quitting the NIN project. Trent looked great. I thought his red shirt that said Safe in Heaven, Dead looked pretty good and there were some really hot sections of the night's performance. I was glad to see The Big Come Down, Non Entity, and Hurt was especially poignant tonite. Great show. Will be back on Friday.

This is my first time seeing NIN, and I was blown shitless. I was confused a little bit when hearing "Non-Entity" in the line-up, since I've only heard the piano version. But the setup fo this particular show was phenomenal. The way that the red lights on the light-cage formed a tube filling with blood during "Closer" was awesome; and when Trent leans against it, and it looks like the blood's hitting him, and falling to the sides! Dude! What I also like it the changes they made to "Only" to make it more full is great. My band always wanted to cover that, but the studio version was to complex and empty for live stuff. This is great. Aaron was flying all over the place, throughout the entire performance!! I must say, I've seen NIN live footage, and this performance surprised me! This was SO much better!! (Even though, about every performance, Trent destroys the same $300 guitar I'm saving up for.) I hope to see them again in the near future!

I just want to say Thanks so much for the recording of the show! I have been to four NIN shows since they started touring again

That show was absolutely amazing!!! I had really high expectations because I love nin so much, and it was sooo much better. Trent was amazing, his voice is even better in person, and the lights and all that crazy stuff was awesome. To top it all off I was a lawn seat person that got to move up to the back row of seats...that just made that night perfect. I was hoping they'd play The Perfect Drug, but I heard every other song I wanted to hear. I already can't wait to see them again!

Gawd. Disposables blow. I swore I only took pics during the brightest parts of the concert.
