I think that's the setlist (all from memory since I didn't write it down, but it should be close, if not correct as is). Comments to come later.

Edit: Overall it was a great show.

Peaches was, ummm, Peaches. And I believe the way I described her running around during the last song was "like Benny Hill, but a bunch of guys chasing a girl instead."

It was my first time seeing Bauhaus and I thought they were pretty damn awesome live. Of course, I had to point out to everyone the NIN vacuum used to clean up the rose petals between sets.

NIN was pretty good as well. The wall of lights thingy is a cool idea and I really liked it. Of course having Peter Murphy come out for Final Solution was awesome and my personal highlight. And we got an extended intro to Only. Not sure if there were techincal difficulties or what, but it was kind of amusing. Also, towards the beginning it looked like Aaron was having some guitar issues, but they got fixed a couple of songs into the set. Trent said a few things tonight, but wasn't too chatty. I couldn't make it all out due to the noise around me, but I think it was the "great audience" type stuff the first time and I forgot what he said the other time.

All in all, it was a great weekend here in Chicago (best friend's wedding last night), so I'm pretty happy right now! Woohoo!

The above set is correct. The show was AMAZING. To say the least. Although I would have been happier if they played Non-Entity, Get Down, Make Love, or Dead Souls, but this will have to do until tomorrow in Milwaukee.
SHOW REVIEW
Peaches (Started:7:00 Ended 7:30)- Peaches was actually good. I thought it was going to suck after hearing "Fuck The Pain Away" a couple weeks ago. She was very energetic and the music was surprisingly pleasing.

Bauhaus (Started 7:45 Ended 8:40) - KICKED SOME FUCKING ASS. No one else seemed to be getting into them aside from a couple of people around me. I loved it but it seemed that no one else did.

Nine Inch Nails (Started around 9:20 Ended 10:50)- By far the best NIN show I've been to. When Somewhat Damaged started I was so anxious to see the rest. The sound at the venue was sub par, but it suficed for the time being. Like I said before I would have loved to see Non-Entity or Get Down, Make Love but I guess that is going to have to wait until tomorrow. As far as performance goes, it was incredible. Aaron stage dived at least twice that I saw... March of the Pigs and Down In It. And I don't know what people have been saying about Jeordie being as energetic as Aaron, but he wasn't. In fact in some parts of the show he was standing still with his arms crossed, or sitting while playing during La Mer. Trent was his usual self, he added "fucking" into ... sad as it seems, during Terrible Lie for those of you who care. He didn't say much besides right before Down In It when he said something that I couldn't quite make out. I didn't pay very close attention to Alessandro because fog was blocking my view of him most of the show. But during Closer, he did jump on his keyboard and played with his feet briefly. And finally Josh Freese. It is a privelage to watch him play drums. He is very intense while playing.
Aside from a couple sound malfunctions (Thanks to the venue) the show was completely flawless. And I get to do it all over again tomorrow.

well here we are... peaches rocked in her own right but was just not my thing, we should all bow down to the all powerful Peter Murphy thier set kicked ass and it was awesome to see him come out and sing with Trent at the end. what can i say NIN was.. NIN it was a really tight set... the only regret is not being able to see Alessandro behind all of that smoke i completely missed out on all of his antics. okay now im tired, my ears hurt, and my contacts are dry, but at least my car didnt get egged like the last show at the allstate ( id still love to find the fuckers that did that). and with that sed.. good night.

Well, i just got back to milwaukee and the show was off the chain! Nails was deffanatly rocking , thou said to say i was the only one around myself singing to The Final Solution, tisk tisk. I succeeded in getting a litho graph, thou i bent it by accident. The venue kicked major ass but security was a fucking bitch. They told people that they ahd to smoke outside, ahhh wtf they are outside surrounded by giant clouds of...fuckign SMOKE! I was as usual (thou why teh fuck would you know) on the left side by jeordie and it seemed tame, thou i got caught in a make shift pit at one point. Bauhaus was great thou i was sad to not hear Ziggy Stardust but theres always TOMMOROW~!

well good evening i hope this was co-herent and fofillin?

EDIT: they didn't do any officaial soundaheck but me and my friend were roaming aimlessly around the property from 12-3 because i kept talking my way out of security and they did this 10 minute long "interlude" if you would of The Big Comedown. It was only bass, drums, and synthl. No guitars or vocals. It was interesting and well, eased our minds off of the inevitable long wait still ahead of us.

I, too, just got back and I have to say...Somewhat Damaged is fucking amazing live. Best. Opener. Ever.

It would have been majestic if they had gone right into Mr. Self Destruct afterwards, isntead of You Know What You Are. Ah well. Speaking of MSD, though, when the roadie was testing the drum kit, he hit the bass like 6 times really fast and my heart almost exploded because I thought it was a guerillia MSD. haha

I was a little disappointed at how quiet NIN seemed relative to Peaches and Bauhaus. It seemed like unless Aaron was really ripping into some riff, everything but the drums was castrated. That kinda sucked. Bass was almost non-existent until The Big Comedown whic was AWESOME tonight. So fucking heavy.

I was sad that Trent either a) didn't have a mic or b) his mic wasn't working during the bridge of Closer. The song felt very incomplete, but Aaron has never sounded better at the end. I would've preferred The Frail/The Wretched to SINCH and Non-Entity to Even Deeper, but ah well. There's always tomorrow, right?

Do they still play Non-Entity?

I was also really hoping for Starfuckers, Dead Souls and/or Get Down Make Love...this show had so much potential and I think it kinda fell short. I love that Trent kept forgetting words, too.

He messed up in Somewhat Damaged, Terrible Lie and the worst when he completely missed his cue for Only. I loved the extended intro though. It looked like everyone wanted to laugh.

Was anyone else near that fight during Wish (I think it was Wish...it may have been a little earlier) down in the pit? It just happened out of nowhere like a foot in front of me.

And seriously...Peaches was entertaining. I was a little grossed out at what she was wearing, but her lyrics were HILARIOUS. And I love how the keetar and guitar players looked like they were 14 and from New Kids on the Block and the drummer looked like a long-haired Pink. Classic.

But Bauhaus? Jesus. I wanted to kill myself. Talk about the most pretentious and absolutely boring band I have ever seen. Peter Murphy sounds like a (really) poor man's Neil Diamond and what the FUCK is with that stupid walk-in-place thing he does? For one song, he did it the ENTIRE time.

Gah. I definitely will be arriving to tomorrow and Monday's shows at 8:30 so as to completely miss having to sit through that crap again.

EDIT: That was quite possibly the best March of the Pigs I've ever heard. I love that we can actually hear the guitars now and they are raw!

Fucking incredible.

There was so much goddamned energy, that I was just speechless for the car ride home.

Anyway, I took a bunch of shitty camera-phone pictures and videos that I'll post later.

I liked peaches more than bauhaus... by a lot.

Is it just me, or did it seem like the light screen during the bridge of closer (with incomplete lyrics) wasn't working right on the way up? Is it supposed to be that way?

Who knows and who cares.. The whole production was incredible.

I was shocked to hear Even Deeper, I wasn't expecting it.... And I think I might have creamed myself when Down in it started up.. It has never sounded better.
Thanks to "The Big Come Down", I think I might have given myself a week long neck pain due to aggressive head banging

The setlist was pretty tight, but I'm still disappointed that I have yet to experience Starfuckers, Inc live. Although I finally heard Down In It so I can't complain much. Somewhat Damaged is a song I've always wanted to hear live as well. And I didn't catch it myself, but my friend said he noticed they played part of Adrift and at Peace just before Something I Can Never Have. Can anyone confirm this?

I was pretty far back, so pretty much all I saw were the silhouettes of the band members, although I thoroughly enjoyed the elaborately designed stage effects. I loved how the effects emulated the flies in the video for Help Me I Am In Hell, and the lighting during Closer was even better.

As far as the actual performance, I was very impressed. Aside from the occasional missed cue from Trent and some coordination issues during certain song intros (namely March of the Pigs) it was NIN at their usual best.

On a final note, allow me to apologize if I irritated anyone in row PP with my obnoxious and incessant jumping around and dancing. Security actually had to tell me to chill out, but they were just jealous 'cause they know I could groove.

Now, I KNOW this is because I'm really picky/particular, but did anyone else notice that Josh seemed to be a little lax in his playing? YKWYA seemed slower and the drums were kinda blah (but that could've also been because of the crappy sound) and the breakdown in Closer seemed so slow and yawn-ish.

I've noticed that since December, the drums during the Closer breakdown have gotten less intense. Listening to the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas and one of the bootlegs from the last three weeks, you can hear a HUGE difference in terms of the drums' intensity.

And the drums for Wish sounded almost like he wasn't doing the roll thing at all.

It's not a big deal by any means, but I guess I'm a little disappointed because he's such an amazing drummer and is so crazy/intense the rest of the show, I don't understand why these songs have gotten kinda lazy. :-\

Back more on topic...what happened in the pit with Aaron? Like, he was up on the crowd and suddenly he just disappeared. Were people just unable to hold him up? He looks so light and frail...

I don't know exactly what you're referring to when it comes to "Wish", because it had all the fills and drum rolls possible, up to the end....

Also, if you wanna get picky, YKWYA wasn't really slower, but it started a little late... I would have imagined that it would have started right as SD's last sounds are ending, ya know?

..Kid: Maybe what your friend was referring to was the extended intro to La Mer? I didn't recognize it at first, but it also reminded me of AAAP.

La Mer and Into the Void back to back, wow, that was amaaazing. I'm so glad I went, I was skeptical about the venue and the seats I had, but everything was exellent. Really, really enjoyed when Peter Murphy came out. I really couldn't see the band that well since i had lawn seats, but still, being that far back, was one of the best performances i've seen to date. After all the shows i have seen, NIN remains #1 for sure. Amazing. I can't imagine how nice it must have been to be in GA. I'm upset with myself i didn't switch my ticket. It was definetly a fast show though, that's for sure.

Oh, and $15 for a drink?? Needless to say, all my money was gone within an hour.

Yeah, like I said, it may just have been because I couldn't hear due to the sound, but it just seemed like instead of the semi-roll every beat on the snare, he was just kicking the bass once and hitting the snare once. It's hard to explain without showing/telling.

Yeah, I was wondering what took so long...I REALLY like the extra "Where the fuck were you?" that Trent screams at the end of SD. It's a nice touch, and segue into YKWYA.

Visuals during closer and only where awesome. I can not get over how many fans nine inch nails has. A LOT I tell ya (which completely reminded me of my distaste of crowds (and people in general; on to the taste of chicago...)).

I am REALLY suprised that all of the fragile material was actually the best sounding. Even Deeper actually sounded like a good song!

Help me im in hell was sooo good. Josh Freese was/is/will always be/ the man.

I motion for a case against nine inch nails: I think that their lead gtr parts (robin/aaron) are backing tracks. North dived into the crowd during march of the pigs, got back onto stage and had to leave. Neither Reznor and White where playing electric gtr and yet they where still present. Noticed this kind of thing on both Fragile and Self Destruct tours...

Just woke up from a fucking amazing night, my friend GOT FREE VIP TICKETS!!!!! IT WAS KICK ASS! FREE FOOD FREE DRINKS EVERYTHING, then we were talking to this dude from the chicago radio station and he had a whole roll of pit tickets and he gave them to the five of us. We worked our way up to the front during the end of Bauhas.

Id have to say the pit was really fucking intense Aaron during march of the pigs decided hey that looks like fun and jumped in, then people literraly raped him, they shoved him to the ground, couple people were trying to take the guitar. then security people finally pulled him out, and i think one girl broke her leg or something cuz she was screaming in pain like i never heard before.

NOTE THEY DO NOT NEED TO SERVE ALCHOL AT THESE EVENTS
BIG 6 foot 5 300 lbs fuckers with beer in a pit do not mix good, he was being the rudest i have seen anyone at a concert. it was sad.

Into the void was amazing live
Even Deeper was amazing as well
and the visuals kicked ass
especially during Closer, Only and Help me im in hell

It could have been a synth noise from Alessandro, but I noticed that too.

My fourth show, 2nd in Chicago - everyone was saying the sound at this place sucks but I didn't think it was too bad at all. Our (Spiral) seats would have been amazing if it wasn't for this stupid fucking speaker stack that totally blocked our view of Josh for the entire show. And if it wasn't for the 3 middle aged drunk fucking assholes that didn't even have seats anywhere near where they were standing around and being retarded.

Peaches > Bauhaus. She was hilarious - I didn't think I'd like her at all but I was entertained.

Highlights from NIN - Into the Void was INCREDIBLE, as well as Only and any song with the LED fence, that thing is awesome. Had an awesome view of Trent and Aaron the whole time - Aaron jumping into the crowd was pretty sweet.

Oh and to the dude recording the show that was behind me - I wasn't trying to be a dick like some of the other people around you, I get what you're trying to do man. I hope that shit comes out good & I get to hear the recording. My buddy and I wanted to stay around and burn another one with you but we wanted to get out of that clusterfuck parking lot quick too. But if you're reading this - nice to meet you, you were cool as shit.

All in all - band sounded great, they played some songs I hadn't heard at other shows so - AWESOME. Thanks NIN!

During the bridge in Closer, Trent tossed the mic and it got stuck in the lights as they were going back up. Not sure if he got his mic back by the platform in time to do the vocals, but he was on cue after the bridge, so I'm not sure why he skipped the entire thing. Aaron ran over and got the mic out of the lights, which meant less guitar from Aaron, which is probably why it sounded weird to everyone.

He wasn't too happy with that part of the pit. Did you see him taunting everyone in that area when Trent started playing La Mer? That was pretty funny.

There was no audible guitar to the right side of the stage when Aaron was in the pit... from what I heard, it sounded like Alessandro's synths.

Ahhhhh! So THAT'S what happened. I saw the fence get stuck, but I didn't know why.

I didn't really care all that much for me because I've seen the song 7 other times live, but my buddy was with me and he's only seen them once before (at Champaign on 2/10) and was REALLY drunk. Closer's my favorite song live (with the Only Time breakdown, that is) so I wanted that to be perfect. Ah well.

Aaron still ripped it a new one at the end.

ha! Wow, dude, we must've been feet apart then. I was standing almost directly behind the fight and then got pushed way over to the left by people trying to get out of the way. I had on kahki shorts and a navy blue Marquette shirt and my buddy had on a bright gold Marquette (I think it had a big MU on the front) shirt. I swear, we didn't plan to wear our school clothes like that. We realized like an hour into the trip that we probably looked kinda gay.

HAHA! I did see that! But I didn't know what he was doing. All I know is when he got back on stage during MotP, he looked PISSED.

That whole thing was funny. I remember the end sounding so full and heavy and then all the sudden Aaron was in the crowd and like Jeordie stopped playing for a second, I think...it seemed like Trent missed his cue or something, too, because he looked at Aaron and had this sort of stunned look on his face. I laughed.

And to the people that said MotP sounded like it had recorded guitar tracks...I don't think so. I distinctly remember the song sounding very flat/dull right after Aaron went into the crowd. And when Jeordie froze up because he wasn't expecting it, I guess, I heard his guitar stop, too. For a second or two, it was just synth and drums until Jeordie woke up and started playing again.

I can't remember what song Aaron got up on the keyboards during, but it was near the end. Down In It maybe?

You guys see Alessandro up on his keyboard during Closer? I noticed the Only Time riff sounded off and like he wasn't paying attention and then I looked and he was standing on the keys, so it made sense.

Onstage, Jeordie reminds me of an ex-bf who was scary intelligent but with a really great, dry, sarcastic sense of humor.

Jeordie makes me laugh my ass off.

There were some real assholes around me, again. Tall assholes around a bunch of really short people. Tall assholes who insisted on using their physical strength and machismo to jam their way in front of everybody else (even though they could have seen very clearly 10 feet farther back). Brainless scum assholes who deserve to be fed into a wood chipper. Feet first.

I really don't know how such rude, selfish scumbags can comfortably sleep at night.

HUGS.

Security people passing cups of water to us = very cool. I must say, ALL of the staff I encountered at this venue were SUPER polite.

And speaking of the security people, I felt so bad for the guy that had to walk with Peaches. He looked so...uncomfortable. At one point, he kinda sighed and shifted his weight in a way that made him look really bored and disgusted at the same time...my buddy and I were dying. I almost choked I was laughing so hard.

very disapointed that I didn't get to hear non-entity or dead souls or Get down make love. But Even deeper was cool since I haven't heard that since NOLA 2001 and it was cool to finally hear down in it and into the void. Thank you trent.

He's played that new intro into La Mer at a few of the shows so far, but nobody has identified the song yet. But it definitely wasn't The Frail.

Finally got back from tinley park. I have the best quality recording i've done so far, but the bastard security guard walking around the pit made me miss the end of down in it, and then all of hlah, ah well I got a pretty good vid of the rest of the show, I didn't jump around or anything like normal. I'm probably going to put it on dime and demon later.

Yeah, I've listened to those other shows too and couldn't find anything that matched. So I guess it makes sense why nobody knows the song and why people are confused.

And I can confirm what everyone else has been saying about seeing HD cameras filming at the venue. I also saw Rob bring out a camera and set it up on a tripod by the soundboard. But there was no Hole action last night, so I'm not sure if he actually filmed anything or not.

What an amazing preformance.

I left yesterday at about 11:30 to stop at the ATM for some cash for merchandise and then filled up the gas tank before getting on I-94. The trip was pretty easy up until I hit the Illinois border, major constuction projects were going on. I arrived at the amphitheater around 2:30, then drove around to find a place to eat. Burger King provided the meal but their service was shitty. They completely skipped my order, having to make it again after the rest of the crowd dispersed.

After eating I headed back to the main enterance to see the gate open but with a security guard right there. I almost drove straight through, when he asked for my pass. "Pass? Oh, the ticket?" "Oh, you're here to see the show. Sorry buddy, the gates don't open for another hour or so. You'll have to pull around here and come back." I turned around where he stopped me again and asked if I was in the fan club. "Of course," I said, lying. "Well can I see the ticket?" "Don't we get them inside?" "You're not in the fan club, are you?" "No," I laugh. "I thought so, can't blame you for trying though." So I drive around the corner and pull over to the side to wait, what else was I to do?

The time finally comes so I pull into the parking lot and begin the walk to the end of the line. Not realizing that I was in the line for The Spiral, I keep moving forward with everyone else. A gal comes up with a megaphone and announces that this was was the line for the fanclub, I hang my head and decide to walk back to my car. I sit there for another half hour before heading back to Gate 5. As the line divides into male and female I'm starting to get really excited. After the preliminary pat-down I'm finally inside. I headed straight to the concert gear booth to pick up a lithograph (no rubberbands?) and then moved to my left for a bottle of water ($3.75, and I don't even get the bottle).

After settling down in my seat I thought I'd have a smoke while waiting for the show to start. I hadn't even took one puff before security asked me to put it out. I complied, but then somehow forgot once the show got started.

Peaches was a very interesting act, one hell of a preformance. I had never heard any of her material, but read that she's dirty and raunchy. That's one hell of an understatement, I would have been offended if I hadn't been laughing so much. Bauhaus was next with a rather dull set. I hadn't heard any of their stuff either, and I think I could have gone without ever hearing them. The songs seemed very long, it felt like torture. The band would probably be pretty good if it weren't for Peter Murphy, his voice is like a trainwreck with those wails he was spewing out. And what was that dancing he was doing?

Nine Inch Nails were fantastic, the best show of the three that I've seen. I was glad to see Hurt finished out this time (unlike when in Grand Rapids the show was ended early), and very pleased to see so much of The Fragile. The highlights for me were Something I Can Never Have, Even Deeper, Wish, Into The Void, The Big Come Down, and Down In It.

To whoever was sitting in section 104, row DD, seat 18: You fucking rock, man. I know you must visit this board, I was sitting next to you on your right. Whoever you are, it was nice to have met you. You were right about the lighting and the cage, it kicked major ass.

There sure were a lot of people from out of state. I was very impressed with the venue, the people were nice, very organized, clean...can't say that about 99% of the places i've been. And heck, they sure were pushing the condoms, haha. I believe i sat on one. Better safe then sorry i guess ; )

I swear he started playing the frail, maybe not all the way but it sounded like it always does when hes working his way into that song. I know because I was pissed cause I didn't want to hear the frail / wretched for the 10th time live.
I was happy to hear that it was La Mer/Into the void, Since thats one I've never heard.

I really wish they hadn't played at the old World Theater, Should have done Apline Valley instead. Sound at the world is tricky, doesn't work out for to many bands. NIN wasn't to bad, down on the floor sounded great, up in the lawn sounded like the sound was phasing.

Hopefully Roger Waters sounds better there.

i was in row nn sect. 205 and the sound was pretty good to me.. but that perhaps because the PA stack was aimed diectly at us... sounded pretty crisp.

as for Aaron's guitar being like on DAT track i really dont think so, i mean i could have sworn that jordie was playing a guitar.. had a les paul body on it. i noticed when Aaron jumped into the pit and the riff was still going but it was in unison with jordie's strumming.

security was nice... i loved the gaurd right infront of my section( she was a VIP attendant) and the look on her face ( of being uncomfortable) when she saw peaches come out... and then later ( in awe) after she took off her earplugs and heard us all sing Hurt in unison... i love singing with everyone else.

and to the dude in front of us who was on crutches... your the man for standing for almost the whole show on one leg.

Did anyone else notice the NIN "blimps" floating around?

the sound threw me off a few times, when i thought i was hearing part of the frail. overall, i thought it was an excellent show. i didnt care much for peaches, but bahaus... well i think i may download some songs after that.

as for NIN, the sound sucked. that i blame on the venue. one damper on the show was that there were too many drunks in the pit. one guy three times my size was starting something with my lil brother (i took his concert virginity at a NIN concert!) and somehow i got him to back off the rest of the show.

back on topic, i think this is the closest i have ever gotten at a nails show. (i was a few feet from the center almost right at the barricade, had two chicks as mu cushion between me and the barricade.) My main highlights were wish, and Final Solution. Now, if only i could afford to follow the tour...

it is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.

This leg of the tour I think I've seen nin 5 or 6 times, and it seems to me that they have progressivley gotten quieter(maybe i'm losing my hearing steadily). I just remember at both the theater and arena shows it being way way louder than it was for these two amphitheater shows(chicago/detroit). When I recorded a couple songs from the congress theater my camera mic would crash because it couldn't handle the bass it was so loud. I don't know hopefully it's just because of the openness of the amphitheaters, just seems like when I saw metallica there it was a lot louder.
One thing that has gotten better with each show is the visuals, the theater shows were just regular lights, the arena shows had that huge screen and what not, and then the ampitheater shows having that fucking sweet LED cage thing and those screens behind the band. I especially liked the effect during help me i'm in hell and closer. Can't wait for the next album and hopefully another round of shows!

Everyone pretty much summed up the show. Also a big Thumbs Up for security constantly handing out water in the pit, cause the heat was stifling. And a big Fuck You to the cab companies that wanted to charge 20 dollars a head just to get from the train station to the venue. Im gonna mention it again, Trent fucking loves that tamborine!! And I enjoyed the unintentional extended version of Only.

yes yes yes, that was definitely the guy. bald bearded bastard. several times i came very close to giving him an elbow to the face... but that would start unnecessary troubles. so like you others, i just tried to move away from him... he eventually settled down a little bit.

I was near that asshole as well. I'm glad Aaron gave him the evil eye. I was one of the people that fell to the floor when Aaron jumped in the pit. I had to yell for someone to help me up. The show was awesome, but I felt like passing out towards the end. I'm sad we didn't get to hear Get Down Make Love, but Down In It and Final Solution made up for it.

Chicago was officially my last Spiral show.
And it reconfirmed why I won't be renewing my membership;
SNOTTY MUTHER F**KERS!
I got everything I wanted from it, I got to meet the band, I'm done, I'm out.
Those who joined the Spiral to declare their superiority over all other NIN-fans, let alone music lovers, make seeing NIN less enjoyable.

Not to mention the lot that post on here are vastly more polite/ likeable/ inteligent/ even headed cross section of individuals than the Spiral.

That said, Chicago rocked.
I had never heard of Peaches before this tour, and was amazed and pleasently surprised.
(Did any one else think she looked frightfully just like one of the charecters from Dc-Vertigo's DOOM PATROL?)
Bauhaus rocked, loved them.
NIN was wonderful, and I love the new light rigging and stage set up!
Totally teared up when La Mer came on.

Was one row of humans from the rail between Trent and Jordie.
Right behind the Chick that thinks she's hot shit, that wears the vinal "sexy devil" ala bondage suite that she is about 15 lbs too heavy for.
Note to said chick; VINAL LIKE SPANDEX IS A PRIVLEDGE NOT A RIGHT!

Missed out on all the fights.
Was crushed in the mass of people, had to get pulled out for fear of heat induced fainting spells.

This was my only show of this tour, and a good farewell to the fan club experience.

I look forward to buying tickets and standing in line with regular fans again.

im not sure if this was the guy... i think he was wearing a tank, but this one guy im talking about was at the front left-center of the pit, and was bitching about pushing into his girlfriend. i told him to take a look around where he is. apparently he was a spiral member (going by what i heard behind me) luckily i talked his drunk ass down, or there would have been another fight in that pit for all to see.

That said, Chicago rocked.
I had never heard of Peaches before this tour, and was amazed and pleasently surprised.
(Did any one else think she looked frightfully just like one of the charecters from Dc-Vertigo's DOOM PATROL?)
Bauhaus rocked, loved them.
NIN was wonderful, and I love the new light rigging and stage set up!
Totally teared up when La Mer came on.

Was one row of humans from the rail between Trent and Jordie.
Right behind the Chick that thinks she's hot shit, that wears the vinal "sexy devil" ala bondage suite that she is about 15 lbs too heavy for.
Note to said chick; VINAL LIKE SPANDEX IS A PRIVLEDGE NOT A RIGHT!

Missed out on all the fights.
Was crushed in the mass of people, had to get pulled out for fear of heat induced fainting spells.

This was my only show of this tour, and a good farewell to the fan club experience.

I look forward to buying tickets and standing in line with regular fans again.

i agree. it seemed that a lot of the spiral members were assholes in that pit (no offense to those members who don't hold themselves higher than the other hardcore NIN fans that arent in the spiral) i think i was near you there in the pit. was this girl wearing devil horns? i was wearing the with_teeth fall 2005 tour shirt, decently short brown hair, one row of humans behind the barricade as well, between trent and jeordie.

i feel ya .. i too am 6' 5" and when i get messed up, i dont get like the asshole that was pushing everyone around, i didnt see jabba- the hut, i only saw the bald muscualr guy w/ no shirt on and bald head... yess he was with a very hot chick... all i could think was ROID RAGE!!!! lol anyways did anyone else notice the increase in hispanic NIN fans? for the longest time i thought i was part of a very select few (yess i know im tall for being fuckin Mexican).

He and I were laughing at the only two Bauhaus fans dressed like the Crow that were dancing two rows in front of me. Not that there's anything wrong with what they were doing, but their movements were funnier than shit.

And yes, I was with my cousin and we're both Mexican. We were talking about how we were able to count the hispanic population at the show on one hand.

Me and my girlfriend where in row F on the inside aisle and we were getting shots of those two Beetlejuice looking pair. On a sidenote there was a guy sitting right behind me for a while recording the show, so there is an audio recording out there somewhere....dont know if he posts here or not though.

well, i think its safe to say that unfortunately, this show was packed full of assholes. luckily, those of us didnt let them ruin the show for us all.

heres an idea... any potential assholes at future shows should be herded into a pig pen somewhere nearby with actual pigs, and trent can actually have some fun with those assholes throwing his mic in a fit of rage. "how does that feel, PIG?!?!"

I love Tents way of poetry, this was my first time at his concert, I thought Trents performance was perfect, I was in the front pitt staring at Jeordey most the time being squashed in that position, I played for years, drums and Jeordey looked bored to me, and oddly very attractive. Peaches were skank, I dont understand that. Trent, good work awsome concert thanks.

I'm a little late but I'm new to this site. I attended this show it was great it was my second NIN show so I was very excited because I was not nearly as big of a fan at my first one 7 years before this concert. Needless to say I loved every minute of it and sang along with just about every song. I can't wait to see them again.
