I love France. I think it's a great country and I've really enjoyed my travels there. I think French people are warm, friendly, vibrant, and beautiful. I love French culture, cuisine, and especially the wine. Vive la France! or something.

I MET TRENT by winning the radio and .. THEY GAVE US 7 HALO22 DVD signed by 5 members, even Trent took 2 'cause he hadnt see it finnished yet. Another strangest some weird guy gave the spiral waiting line some red flyers with year zero style and 'Art killing that Gov dont tell ya' speech no numbers seen but also no ad or anything else like usual flyers, you'll see it soon enough.

IIRC, none of the "people" who "found" (out about) stuff at shows had good grammar/spelling. (It makes them sound more authentic, doesn't it? :P)

could someone please scan in the "red flyer" we need to decipher any shit it might contain.

I'm sorry i cant right now i really need to sleep but dont worry lots of spiral members found that strange, two in the ninfr teams already own the scan, it will surface soon, i personnaly lost my copy right now.

I think it may contain an hidden link. lots of text, a logo that is a lookalike usa flag. The 24.13.2 is the numbers of lil things on the top right.

-Aaron was really drunk we met him at the backstage exit with the Popop guy and some blondes, we took some photos and he's gone with all that 20 ppl team into some party in the paris street.

the gig was amazing, perfect set-list
the popo were fun and noisy as announced
it felt strange to see NIN enter on the set as the lights were still on, the roadies still working and the pre-show sounds still running.
talking about the pre-show sounds, i heard some really strange and odd loops, kinda disturbing, and i'm almost sure i heard them during the show too. dunno if they match with that YZ game or not
i didn't get that NIN flyer, i'd like a scan to have a look at it
i think half of the guys present went to the toilets to check if there was a USB key hidden somewhere (there wasn't)

trent spoke only once to us:

intro surprised me, roadie on the stage, ligth opened, then 20 minutes of crazy happiness, my legs are complety death this morning

It was GOOD but slightly inferior to the 2005 Zénith gig (imho). The band's arrival on stage was, to say the least, spectacular, 'cos I was expecting a "Pinion"-style intro-song.
MSD just slayed the people in the pit and it felt just GREAT

Josh Freese is a bit heavy-handed imho; it gets irritating to see he plays EVERYTHING loud, but since Trent seems to love his playing...

Personnal message : THANKS A LOT Aaron for signing my ticket for the show. I stumbled on you quite accidentally as you were on the sidewalk near the rear exit of your hotel a few hours before the show and you were super-kind and super-cool.
(and nah I won't give away the name of the hotel...)

i didn't really like the sound of the zenith gig, too noisy-crappy
and it was too fucking hot in there (remember TR asking if we guys had discovered air-conditionned ?)
and it was too short with a 1h15 gig and a poor setlist

How long was the show ?

The concert was too short but the playlist was so great !

Sub-basses were a bit too loud (we sometimes didn't understand the bass melodies) and synths & progs were really too low


But as usual, the gig was unbelievable. Trent spent 1h30 singing & screaming and didn't lose his voice at the end to sing "hurt" ! what a master !

I think it would definitely be one of the best live act in 2007 !

The show was really good, nice setlist and great lighting.. highlights were 'Ruiner', 'The Eraser' and well.. the first three songs. more surprises to come tonight! hopefully.. oh and I met Aaron in the Olympia's hall climbing the stairs during the (bad) supporting act, we talked for a moment about music & stuff.. he was just happy to play in this particular venue

It was an amazing gig, Trent's voice was a bit better than the 2005 gig at the Zenith, and this time there were neither "a fuckin' crew" nor "no fresh air".
Paradoxically, his voice was better, but he showed some signs of weakness, he 's growing old , but apparently he seemed to like what he did and didn't cheated on the crowd.

Aaron was totally fucked up and crazy, Trent definitively made a good choice with this one. Freese was very professional, yeah a great drummer (one of my fav' ones , not better than Jerome, just different.

The Popo sucked, it was only noise and a big "happy" mess, but I think it was intentional (I hope...). The Dresden Dolls in 2005 was a thousand times better than them.

Btw, the highlights were very hmmm inspirated in a way and the setlist was terrible (Ruiner in live is unbelievable), I wish they would play la Mer + Into the Void, but anymay, it was one of the best gigs of my life

The 2005 show was 110-minute long.
Hey nobody mentioned the NEW song "Survivalism". Live it rocks pretty hard, definitely one of the highlights of the show with "Wish", "Somewhat Damaged" "The Day The World...")and 16 others!

What comes to my mind today is the boys really wanted to deliver a kick-ass show. Nearly all the songs that have been played are in the "heavyweight" category. No "La Mer" for example (mmmm pity... maybe tonight). And boy did they manage to rock the place!!

wasn't quite an intro but more weird synth loops that faded after NIN entered on stage

Great, that could make a nice DVD

Really good show, not as good as the first nin set i ever saw ( at the Zénith, Paris for the Fragility Tour ) but far better than the 2005 show ( also at the Zénith )

Good audience, even if I don't understand why some people feel the need to clap hands on songs like "Hurt", very strange ( but when they started to clap, there were a lot of "sshhhhh" that made them stop )

The sound was not so good, very disapointing for the Olympia, too much sub basses and not enough mediums. The bass was so loud that sometimes it was difficult to recognize the bass line, and the guitar and the synths were often under-mixed. At least we had a good drum sound ( and a very good drummer too! )

Also I really liked the way Trent entered on stage, and started singing Somewhat Damaged ( with no bass intro, so I didn't recognized the song immediately! )

But the best imho was the good mood of the band, contrary to 2005 where they just seemed "doing the job".

Hope there'll be a good audio recording of this show!!
