Just back and this show was absolutely relentless from start to finish, no downtempo just ferocity from start to finish

Differences from last night (in no particular order were songs like Piggy, Suck, Reptile, Piggy and Deep

I am absolutely dead on my feet, what a two days that was, I want more!!!!!

I hope it doesnt damage my reputation.

I felt the band had more energy tonight, not that they were slacking the previous evening, but i like to think the Glasgow audience bred confidence in them and brought out the best.

The Becoming, Deep and Only (someone fucked up.) where personal highlights.

Great show - as someone else mentioned, the pace rarely let up from the opening 'Wish' all the way through to 'Head Like a Hole' via the blistering speed of 'You Know What You Are' and many other classics. Trent seemed relaxed and in good humour with the appreciative Glasgow audience: took a sip of water at one point and remarked something like 'that's the only drink I've had all day!' Survivalism came across well - my only disappointement, I'd love to have heard 'We're in this Together' which was apparently played the night before. This is probably my fave NIN song - oh well, maybe another time!

I agree that last nights show (surprisingly) seemed to have even more energy than the first.

pinion intro into wish is a fantastic way to kick a gig off.

That's ALMOST the correct order. Does anyone know the correct order for last night's setlist?

Incredible performance once again! 11 different songs from last night, now that's something special! Reptile was the highlight for me, it was like the band were caged within a wall of green strobe lighting, excellent stuff. Intense energy from the band throughout, although it was a little strange that no songs from The Fragile were played, but who can complain when we got The Becoming (great guitar work by Jeordie), Eraser and You Know What You Are.

I second that Trent said "Tha'ts the only drink I've hand all day" during 'Only', pretty funny stuff.

Im pretty sure you are wrong. Someone fucked up Only. Trent or Alessandro missed a que and Trent ended up saying "I just made you up.." then he siad something "first fuck up of the day." Then he probably had some of the throat honey tea.

Great show, much more energy than the night before with very few let-ups. If my memory serves me correctly I do believe even Jeordie White was bouncing around a bit.

Great tunes beforehand too - Triple Sun by Coil was played which was a nice surprise.

My mate was working as a security guard there, handing out water at the front. After the gig was finished they had to put up with two 14 year olds who were inconsolable at the fact they didn't play Hurt. Now that's funny.

Hope he wasn't the guy standing under Jeordie who got a smack in the face from a crowdsurfers stray boot and had his glasses knocked off?

I think it's the first time I've been at a gig and the rocksteady/security guys were singing along.

Nah, my mate was right in front of Trent. Twas a truly bizarre image seeing TR up there with my pal a few feet in front of him. He said that they guy who had his glasses knocked off was not a happy bunny, ha ha ha.

OMFG!!! That was my frist NIN gig i've been to (actualy my first proper gig), and it totaly blew me away!!!! Trent was amazing on stage (as usual), and so was the rest of the band. I'm really happy they played wish and gave up, and hopefuly, i'll see them again soon. Btw, Fraser, were u front row? Coz me & my m8's were like second row, then during the moshing I got pusehd into the moshpit, at like 3rd/4th row. Coz i remember the guy infront of me filmed the performance on his mobile phone. Anyways, cheers for the pics and the setlist!

Our view was awesome but my camera couldnt hack the distance, also the lens kept focusing on the mike in the foreground.

Survivalism was different last night too. it had cut voice samples near the end.

I will join and agree with everyone else. This was a fantastic gig. So glad I made the trip up to Glasgow for these two dates. Two nights of great songs, great performances and I met some nice people in the cold and the rain!

I still can't quite understand why I came home with one of Aaron's water bottles - all I can think is that I am truly losing it in my advancing years.

Wishing I had booked for Nottingham too but roll on Birmingham.

I need some more bruises to add to the growing collection!

Out of both nights that was the best for me, mainly because I managed to get into the standing area with a balcony ticket. As a bonus I also done a bit of crowd surfing...happy fucking days!

Not my favourite ever performance by them but pretty amazing stuff. Great entrance, the best sound I've ever heard at the Academy and as always excellent lighting but I missed March of the Pigs and felt it needed a slow one in the middle to break it up a bit. Here's some pics (the camera I was using is a bit pish unfortunately).

I'm a bit late replying here!

What an amazing two nights it was.

The only downside for me was missing the sound check on the first night, I showed up at the spiral line at 5.45 with my girlfriend. Ah well, there's always next time!

Amazing setlists both nights.

On the second night I was on Balcony seating, great view. My mate, bro and I stood all the way through the gig, only downside was that some people didn't seem too interested. They sat there silently, going up to bar during the show.
Not too cool.

Great night all the same.

The aftershow bar was quite cool as well!

Can't wait for the summer tour!

Oh and I spent £58 on Merch!

i didn't take a camera this time, but at a previous gig at the glasgow academy we tried to take in a point-n-press olympus digicam and were refused as it looked 'too professional'. after querying this, it seemed to boil down to 'the lens looks a bit big, well, not big, but you know, it sticks out from the body a bit'

if you can manage it, it might be worth popping down to the venue with your camera some time beforehand and checking whether it's gonna get past the bouncers...

i remember very little of this show, given how long ago it was

from the setlist, you can see that a lot of new stuff was played, which was amazing. the crowd seemed more lacklustre than usual, although there were many crowd surfers. there wasn't much of a crush, and i could breathe easily.

the mic was thrown in during MOTP

i wrote some other shit down somewhere that i intend to type up, but i need to be up in 6 hours for the next show so...

First NIN gig I've ever been to and it was at least awesome. Managed to get to the front row and took some pretty good pics.. Also got some from the back at the end of the show..Enjoy.
