And I got an A4 Art Is Resistance poster that was hanging on the outside of the technical area. Cool shizzle.

EDIT: ooh, beaten by a minute!
Another excellent show, although I don't think it was quite as good as last night's.
Setlist
The New Flesh mixed into Pinion (as was done in the Fragility era - I don't recall hearing the TNF bits this loudly the other nights, or Pinion getting so slow and distorted)
Terrible Lie
You Know What You Are? (Aaron suffered a guitar malfunction near the end and got pissy and didn't finish the song)
Sin
March of the Pigs (Trent seemed really lively to me during this)
The Frail
The Wretched
The Beginning of the End (reportedly better than the other night, but still a rather boring song live, I thought)
Heresy
Closer (w/ Only Time breakdown)
Burn
Gave Up
Help Me I Am In Hell
Eraser
The Fragile
Wish
Survivalism (they fucked up the intro, stopped, Trent said, "Sometimes we fuck up," and they restarted)
Suck
Down In It
Hurt
The Hand That Feeds
Starfuckers, Inc.
Head Like a Hole
At the end, Trent said, "We'll see you in the summer."

I'd say Saturday's was best, followed by Wednesday, followed very closely by tonight's, and then probably Thursday's (which, again, I didn't see) after that.
And I spotted at least one old guy with a mic on his hat.ScreamingSlave wrote:Taped expect it in a week or so

Thursday wasn't my first NIN gig and by no strech of the imagination would I say it was poor. The setlist suffered from bad pacing but I'd say they were giving Trents voice a rest. Out of the three I saw (Thurs, yesterday and tonight) I'd say yesterdays was best.
They did the New Flesh/Pinion mix Thursday too, letting it slow right down.
Anywoo, tonight was a great end to the London dates I thought. Was a great little set. I thought The Beginning of the End sounded much better tonight, maybe because I'd heard it once though. Bass was LOUD tonight. Aarons guitar seemed a little quiet at times but never in points where it took to much away, so maybe it was just good mixing. The Fragile sounded great (apart from the conversation happening in my left ear...) as did Burn. Starfuckers was a real suprise, mostly because by the time they played Hurt I thought I knew the rest of the set. Seemed to go down pretty well. Love this band. Amazing.
Did the bootleggers outside get busted again, I saw one guy suddenly run off but saw no police. There were definatly less of them though!

Always a great gig when it's NIN!!! [s]Just need to sober up to think about it.....[/s] Have now sobered up and calmed down. Sunday was great but I must admit I always expect a bit more when it's the last show of a set in a city and I don't feel like we got that little bit extra with it. I'm not complaining though, still had a great time! Was surprised he tried The Beginning Of The End again.
My photos this time have suffered from choosing to go in the middle. I had fun and a good view myself, but the pictures are awful.

Blah.
ForWhom is right again, the bass for The Beginning of the End was loud! Sounds awful in this video clip I took (err my camera cut out just when it started to get good. BOO!!)
Heh yeah a nice surprise as it meant the show was one song longer than I thought we had left.ForWhom wrote:Starfuckers was a real suprise, mostly because by the time they played Hurt I thought I knew the rest of the set. Seemed to go down pretty well.

it was worth going just to hear Fragile - not quite as good as Sat but still class.
I'm sure anyone reading this knows anyway but from Wolv Civic site:
"Nine Inch Nails - POSTPONED
Please note that due to circumstances beyond the band's control, the Nine Inch Nails show, due to take place tonight has been postponed.
The show will now take place on Thursday 30th August 2007.
All original tickets will remain valid for the new date.

good show. not as good as last night's, but then little could be. i was far more preoccupied with going to old street after the gig to be honest!
the fragile live was very good, though i would have liked for trent to be facing the audience during it, so that we could get some of that eye contact action, and the beginning of the end was better than on thursday.

This was my second NIN show and it just rocked.
I was hoping to hear "We're in this together" but have since gotten over it.
Highlights:
-Survivalism
-The Fragile
-The Wretched (as usual)
-Wish
-Starfuckers (nice addition)
Great gig and I'll be around for the August shows.
Edit - I completely forgot to mention Josh Freese's awesomeness. On the way home I just couldn't stop talking about him. I've met him a few times but am pretty sure I've never seen him live. Fuckin' mental drummer.
Also, Aaron North is a complete nutter. Too cool for me. Legend.

I GOT THE FRAGILE LIVE. That is all that needs to be said for how much I rate that show. That was a piece of genius and tied this tour off perfectly for me.
Addendum: I do NOT want to hear your conversations during quiet songs/quiet passages of songs. SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU DISRESPECTFUL DICKHEADS. If I could have bitten one of you during The Fragile last night, please believe me when I say that I would have. This also applies to all the fucktards who wanna scream out messages/heckle Trent during Hurt. PISS OFF.

**Long Post Alert**
Great show!! Everyone pretty much explained everything. Hearing The Fragile and DIT(finally!!) made up for not hearing TBCD and WITT. If that's such as strain on his voice, I wont be surprised if its not played for a while. Did anyone notice the gestures and faces Jeordie was doing near the end of Sin? I was like WTF? Hahahahaha.
Before survivalism, Trent stepped from the mike for a bit and came back and said something to the effect of something or security's been fixed. He went on to say he was gonna tell us something cool, but he forgot what it was and fuck it, then went into the first intro of Survivalism.
I was on the right front with some pretty cool girls. I felt bad for one cause her halter kept falling down cause of the pit crush. There was one drunk Scottish guy that kept getting in front of us, and then was eventually pulled out by security. The security up front keep giving us poor souls water facials for all four nights were great.
My fave night of four was Wednesday, hands down. That was a DS night. Saturday and Sunday were just as good. The stage was like five six feet from the crowd and Aaron can still manage to jump in the pit with his guitar. Thursday was the least fave for me, not that it sucked, it was just that the setlists for the other nights blew Thursday out the water, the band messed with us less, and there were some true DICKS on the floor.
Bummer I didnt get the chance to meet up with a few on this side. VMobile screwed me with mobile coverage here, so I couldnt really call anyone. Still this trip has been great. My first time ever in London. Oh and

i had an amazing time, some of the songs which didnt appeal to me as much in cd form, for example star fuckers translated really well live, amazing amazing show. I cant wait to see them again, Favest song that night had to be The Hand that Feeds.
I didnt like Ladytron at all, they were like half dead puppets to be honest.

well it was my first NIN show and i loved it. seriously blew me away. i was surprised they opened to terrible lie, but it was very welcome! sounded awesome. trent;s a funny one eh...ive never seen such a sexual/dirty frontman! amazing. the fragile was INCREDIBLE. but yeah, why do people have to talk during that and hurt? anyways i was right at the front, got crushed and soaking wet.
oh i read someone mentioned the crazy guy who got pulled out, was he in the red shirt? he was a fucking psycho. i told him to fuck off but i thought he was gonna stab me.

awesome gig... ladytron were weird.. the music might have been ok... but they looked so damned bored to be there, so i didnt enjoy them.
the pinion/the new flesh intro was amazing, so powerful and a bit different to other times ive heard it... longer and it also seemed to hang on more at the end, great stuff.
highlights were
the fragile (very suprised by this, not heard it like this before)
the frail/the wretched
MOTP
help me i am in hell
aaand
heresy.
did anyone notice the noises that came from the speakers at the end of hurt but also during one of the songs? i think maybe it was survivalism or near the end of a song in the second half.... sounded like the US wiretap convo. couldnt make anything out though, because of the people next to me going mad, hah.
met up with some cool people with the guy with the stripey red hat on in the 'next gig, brixton' photo from nin.com, hah that was amusing
also got hold of one of those A4 AIR posters that has appeared on the AIR section.. didnt spot it before i got back though because i had it in my pocket

Amazing gig. So glad I raided the copper jar to go again. One night was not enough (we went on Wednesday too). Big up my lovely husband who stayed home with our little girl, and let me go with a mate who needed cheering up.
I am rather gutted at the lack of trent-arms on show, but I reckon I'll get over over it.
Best bits:
The Fragile (first time I've heard it)
Starfuckers Inc.
Terrible Lie
Hurt (no fire alarms this time)
Heresy
I'd include Closer in the list but it was slightly spoiled by the big old bloke squashed behind me getting rather excited in the trouser department. Not The One.
Roll on August baby.

I was standing directly in front of Aaron North on that side of the stage. I felt like a giant compared to everyone else I was resonably tall and had shoulder length black hair.
Unfortunately during hurt there was someone next to me was accusing some guy of taking his cellphone and at the same time some girl was biting another girl on the arm.
Does anyone know the deal with that person biting the other one on the arm?
Hahaha when Trent started singing the line "will you bite the had that feeds you" I thought yeah that girl will!
There was soo much talking going on during hurt because of that it was distracting from watching the show and finally some blonde girl leaning up on the rail got the idea and told them to shut the fuck up.
I think that's really disrespectful when people start carrying on like that during a song.
The crowd for a mosh pit didn't really seem to be as lively as I thought, I got waved around a few times but that was it. People weren't really singing along to the songs as much as I expected they would have. I think possibly that's because quite a few of those people were probably children when some of those albums came out.
All and all I thought it was a great show. The band couldn't have been any better, but the show I saw in Nashville TN Halloween 2005 was a better all around show the crowd was way more into it, but I liked the song selection at Btixton a lot more.
Unfortunately I think it's something you have to put up with is these venue's sell alcohol, and you get a lot of goons that consume way more than what they should, and they don't even know what's going on during the show. What's the point of taking a pill and drinking a lot of booze and going to a show? How can you appreciate it?
If you want to get drunk go out to a club or a pub!
No matter how expensive the drinks are people still manage to afford a way to get smashed and start barfing or becomming violent and wanting to start fights.
I thought I caught a few Canadian or American accents up there did anyone else?

Most of the Americans or Canadians that I noticed were being respectable.
They appeared to be young girls that weren't making a fuss really.
It doesn't matter to me what the disruptors nationality was. I just think if you want to get drunk or fuck yourself then do it elsewhere and not at a show because it ruins it for the senseable respectable fans who have a dedication to the band and actually like them and aren't jumping on the band wagon because it's fitting this year's trend.
Can you imagine if Topman put out a trendy "gothic" collection of clothing out what kind of hal-fwitted twats you'd get attending events like this.
The same people that buyto whatever's in the top 20 for the week because it's what this years trend tells you to do.
However I can tell you they were British.
I just want to know why the hell a girl was biting another's arm hahahaha.

Yeah I know this thread is only for those who attended the show, but I want to ask you if the sound in this venue (Brixton Academy) is good or bad. I'm thinking of making a travel to London in the future so that would be interesting info for me
Sorry for this, I didn't want to create a new post only for this question.
And thanks DaisyMay for the video
