amazing show (my forth...), and what a setlist!

Pinion
Mr. Self Destruct
Terrible Lie
Heresy
March of the Pigs
The Frail
The Wretched
Closer (with "Only Time" break)
the Becoming
The Beginning of the End
Wish
Gave Up
Help Me I'm in Hell
Eraser
Reptile
No You Don't

Here Trent spoke to the audience, he said somethng just like that:
"Tonight we have a surprise for you, we have a new album coming out in 2 weeks. It's fantastic and you know what? Go out and steal it!"
Now or this is an april's fool, or he leaked Year Zero in the same way he has done with closure and broken... then the second part of the show:

Survivalism
Only
Down in It
Hurt (lot of annoying noise from the audience... fuck it)
the Hand that Feeds
Head Like a Hole
Master of the Ninth Arch
Great concert, my first one (and probably the last one).
Halftime I was already floored...
He did down in it, still one of his best songs, josh freese was amazing on the end of the song.
The band was tight and exactly what I expected, even I think he should close the concert with ringfinger. Very unlikely, I know.
On the other side, Nin fans are bloody awful...but it was fun to see an army of people with nin shirts invading Milan's underground.

This show felt like the mix of the Munich and second Vienna show. I was glad to hear The Becoming again, however I hoped for WITT/The Fragile. Such a shame. Terrible lie was really good.
North sucks.

I agree with you, Hurt was kinda ruined for me too, I had a bunch of morons right behind me yelling all the time....but I am so in awe for the setlist, honestly. I kept myself kinda "spoiler free" and I didn't go read the previous setlists, I was so happy he played so many old songs, and even Reptile, my all time favourite! :D

yeah... i really had difficulties to hear Trent sing...

Agree... Reptile live is just amazing, but also The Becoming! I didn't liked Mr. Self Destruct though... i was expecting something more... well... destructive!
Anyway, i saw NIN live in Paris in 2005 (and before in 1999 and 2000), and yesterday it was so much better...
Master of Achievement
ruinofearth : Yeah. I saw them in 2005 in Paris too and I must agree, this show was much better.
Bricklayer
Yeah I agree, this is the 3rd time I see NIN in Italy and this was the best gig they played. I love the new sober and drug free Trent! :)

The show was fucking great.my first time seeing NIN... shit,I can't believe it yet :D

all good, cya next time guys (Sept... )

I love Aaron and all his moves around the stage and the jump from the keyboard in front of Ale.
Cortini... he's Italian... he's sexy :D
Master of Achievement
Yeah, Alessandro is awesome.

If the dudes next to me had respected this notice I would have enjoyed my concert a lot more. I was 3rd row and I had to leave because of some morons, after 3 songs of being slammed left and right I had to leave.

that sign sounds quite ironic compared to how the things went, I managed to sustain the mosh till "No you don't" than I was forced to step back, I was almost fainting for the heat, too much people pressed, too much idiots pushing...

the show however has been great, the live band sounds definitely better than '99 one even if I still prefer how the old guys kept the stage, I still can't accept how Aaron moves...

does anybody recognised what Trent said about Alessandro between one of the first songs? his father (or at least I suppose judging from the photo posted today on nin.com homepage) was right next to me before the show. he looked totally out of place, poor man :)

AW. Isn't there a balcony? I'm sure a radiohead concert would cater more to the people that don't like being touched. I hear a lot about lazy crowds that don't get into the show, and this affecting the band's performance, perhaps one should be glad this wasn't one of those shows where band members are asking if you are awake. I recommend the following:

1. Get a 1080P TV, surround sound, and Blu-Ray Player
2. Get BYIT Blu-Ray
3. Enjoy from your couch, leave the pit to the pros

I am sorry dear, but I went into the pit because I know what it's like and I've been there many many many many times. Moving, dancing, whatever is ok but what the bunch of drunk dudes next to me were doing was ruining the show for many people who decided to leave...
If I go to a concert it's because I want to listen to the music and see the band, I don't want to just pay attention to some moron who could elbow or kick me in the eye or in general be worried about my personal safety. Heat is ok, dancing is ok, pushing is ok, drunk idiots behaving irresponsibly is not ok, I'm sorry.l

You just anticipated me!
That sign was the most funnier thing i have ever found in a club before a gig!
LOL!!!!

same here. also there was probably too much people inside and it was definitely too hot (security guys gave away free water in the front rows, how many times you see this in a club?), and that silly dry-ice smoke that they kept blowing before the show made the air almost impossible to breathe. it's ok to move in the pit and not fell like you are completely dead, but in that situation if you kept pushing for that long in that way you are just a dork. as always in Italy every sign asking kindly to not do something is received as suggestion to do it :)
anyway great gig, more enjoyable than 99 one, people was definitely not sleeping last sunday.

Sorry, I second what Ekrekel said. You know what to expect from a NIN show, it's not a picnic in the park. Rude crowds scared me to death too, but I guess that's part of the game. I've heard Trent gets pissed off with lazy crowds and I can see why.
I'm not very brave so I made it to the rail on Jeordie's side and it wasn't that bad, I saw the show from a lovely spot. I only saw some people collapsing from the terrible hot, nothing more.
