The show started like the previous one, but this time there was no sun to interfere with the lights. And all of them seemed to be working this time. The audience was really into it from the beginning and the front row, including myself, was hopelessly pinned to the railing. This was the first time ever the front felt uncomfortable for me. Even raising my arms was hard. There was a kind of a ’divider’ built from the security railing that is probably supposed to make the pressure at the front easier, but I think it did just the opposite. I’d much rather have my sides pressed against another human than a metal fence.
Even with the difficulties of being stuck this was the best show I’ve been to so far. The crowd was so intense and Trent was in a really good mood. He had so much energy, jumping and running all the time. And smiling, even joking a little. I was standing at the railing between Jeordie and Trent and I must say that Jeordie’s kinda scary when he stares down from the stage right into your eyes. In Ankkarock the stage was so high I didn’t really get that feeling of connecting with the band but now it was there, and very strongly.
The set list was quite similar to the previous one, but so what? During Piggy Trent got down from the stage and to the railing, just not on my side of the divider

Or maybe that was actually good ’cause there were at least two other small girls/women right next to me, and we could have… Who am I kidding, I wanted him to be right there in front of ME. But it was really cool anyway.
The lights are truly amazing and interesting. I realised that I missed a few things on Sunday because of the high stage and the angle it caused, but lets not go there. Together the music, the visual side of the show and the bands presence just leave me without words, I couldn’t say anything about the show right afterwards ’cause I was so full of excitement.
I think only one tambourine got tossed to the crowd and it was caught by a girl right next to me. Now that was frustrating. On the other hand I’m sure the instrument would have been considered a lethal weapon at the airport and I have had to leave it there. That’s what I’ll tell myself until I forget about the whole thing.
Can’t wait ’till Sunday and Bratislava.
I must add: I love the way the Great Destroyer is live. The end part is just crazy in a good way. Also I'm falling in love with the tambourine more and more after every show.
