Just got finished with the drive back to St. Augustine. Was there in Orlando last night as well, and in my opinion this show was far better. Could have been the venue, but the sound just was flat out incredible tonight. They were having some serious difficulty with the front screen tonight, but was still a great show.
Thank you jesus for granting my wishes to see Reptile and The Big Comedown tonight, even at the expense of The Great Destroyer.

Yes, well, I was compiling the list throughout the show and posted it on the drive home. How sad is that?
Not so sad that it takes away from Reptile + Vessel.
(Apologies for not being absolutely sure of the Ghosts tracks)

I hope they play Vessel and Reptile tomorrow night in Nashville. I saw them last night in Orlando and I hope they don't do an every other night type thing with the songs. They played every song I wanted in Orlando except Reptile and Vessel.
the crowd sucked.
the band rocked.
no one understood HEALTH though.
i thought they were pretty great.

Just got back after driving 700 miles in a day to go to this concert and I must say it was definitely worth it. Me and my roommate were in row 114 rocking out the whole time. I will say that the energy was not there from the other people to the point of Justin coming over the side taunting the crowd there, which was awesome to see. The frail to reptile caught me off guard big time and it was awesome. Seeing Josh Freese banging on a upside down trash for the ghost part was a great treat to see as well. Vessel > The Great Destroyer, they seriously killed that. The malfunctioning screen was kind of a let down but they still did a great show. I really did not like health but the one drunk guy really disrespected them by screaming they sucked and everything. Sure I wanted them to get off as well but I still clapped and cheered for them. Alot more to say about this show but I will leave that up to everyone else because I am literally drained. They put on a fucking awesome show!
In a few spots (like Ghosts 21), I thought it added some interesting video noise to the experience.Hate+1989 wrote:The malfunctioning screen was kind of a let down but they still did a great show.
But I still have a mental image of Trent going backstage and force-choking a technician while saying, "You have failed me for the last time."
i was on the rail for most of the show.
the main screen has seen better days.
its got random pixels missing from it ALL OVER.
they need to get a new one or get that one fixed or SOMETHING.
that was my only let down of the night.
and fuck the drunk guy who was screaming shit the WHOLE SHOW.
when HEALTH was on he kept screaming GET THE FUCK OFF THE STAGE! PLAY YOUR FUCKING GUITAR YOU QUEER!
and when NIN started playing the year zero and ghosts material he was screaming WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT? I DIDNT PAY $50 FUCKING DOLLARS FOR THIS GARBAGE! PLAY THE OLD SHIT! PRETTY HATE MACHINE! PRETTY HATE MACHINE! FUCK THIS! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS, AN OBAMA RALLY?
also, it is just fucking CREEPY to hear these 17,18,19 year old girls screaming FUCK ME TRENT! YOU ARE SO FUCKING HOT! AAAAAHHHHHHH! FUCK ME LIKE AN ANIMAL!
also, the arena was not nearly full enough.
i dont even think it was half full.
im pretty sure that combined with the dumb asses screaming the whole show is going to make trent think twice about coming here again.
he was noticeably upset towards the end of show.

The show rocked and from where I was at in the pit even though the crowd was small we rocked out and everyone was so nice. Tonite was the first time I came close to even getting the tambourine after head down, but my dumb ass was not even looking in that direction so it hit me in the head, which of course someone else quickly grabbed and did a tug of war with the crowd for it for like 20 minutes. One dude was taking swigs off a whole bottle of crown he managed to bring onto the floor and it showed cause he kept going PUSH PUSH PUSH during the whole show--nut. Enough with the crowd banter the show was tight despite some of the screen difficulties. It was obvious during ONLY unless they intentionally started having the screen split in half this tour around. And there was the occasional red squares popping up in strange places. During terrible lie, I think the chorus was coming in at off times cause of the guys up stage and the crowd where looking like what the fuck. Trent talked a little at the end something about it being Deja Vu because of all the familiar faces and the Fred Durst and Bush comment and how Jacksonville owes them twice now for that oh and to please vote next week. I heard someone say that Orlando sold out the night before but Jacksonville there may have been like 2500 people.
Great show! I was so bummed out there were no people there. Good ol FLORIIIIDEYA! Anways, I cant believe no one has made a comment about the people in the bathroom during survivlism. There was a couple making out for about half the song and before you know it the were doing the animal dance in the bathroom for the entire audience to see. I'm just curious if they knew and did that on purpose, but i dont think they had a clue they were on the screen. Man i was laughing so hard. Yeah the screen malfunctioning did put a little damper on the show, but i had a great time. First time seeing NIN and they really threw down even though it was not even close to being sold out.

the people fucking in the bathroom isnt real. they play that at almost every show.snafuedem wrote:Great show! I was so bummed out there were no people there. Good ol FLORIIIIDEYA! funny that you mention about the the couple "fucking" in the bathroom....it's fake.....the guy is his sound tech guy that holds his mike cord and handles the volume (that's who he was signaling to whenever the mike kept fucking up and when trent yelled "turn this fucking thing up!" he was yelling at that guy.....awesome show....fucking ANNOYING crowd.....was FRONT AND CENTER on trent the entire time and FOUGHT off all the dicks who were trying their very hardest to get our spots......DIDNT happen.....I'm sorry but standing in line since 7 am will not let ANYONE get my hard-earned spot....so no apologies to all the fuckers who got my elbows and kicks...and i almost KILLED this one bitch who thought it was ok to stand SIDEWAYS facing the seats and kept her elbow in my back (FUCK YOU and your husband) for thinking you could try and get our spots.....awesome getting spit on by trent (hah) and making eye contact with him..worth every second of waiting in line in the freezing cold. And to the above post he said he was getting deja vue to all the familiar faces from previous shows (BONUS!!!) That was great of him to mention his recognition of his true fans....I really wish he would throw the tambourine more towards the front since we practically DIE in those spots.....anyhoo great final show (4th and last) for me for this tour!!!

I just finally woke up after getting home at four in the morning. Hands down the best NIN concert I've been to so far. The band put everything they had into it. Even with that said, I'm amazed that TR didn't explode on his website. The crowd was the worse crowd ever (barely moved/arena 40% full), the town sucks (+ smells like ass) and there were a ton of techinical fuck ups.
Missing a piece of the screen on Vessel, part of the top screen wasn't working during the Ghosts songs, it seemed like The Greater Good was messed up, echo fuck up during Terrible Lie, during Only the whole middle panel was missing and the white snow was multicolored.
Setlist was:

Just about a perfect setlist besides no God Given during the encore. Fuck that fat cunt a few rows behind me that was screaming "NINE INCH NAILS FOREVER/I'M YOURS FOREVER TRENT" every time TR opened his mouth during Hurt.
So it was a great time. Health was suprisingly good (enough for me to buy both of their CDs) and I picked up a tour t-shirt (current) and a poster (which was from the last leg of the tour
)

That crowd sucked a million dicks. I have never seen a crowd not go absolutely nuts during March Of The Pigs and during most of the songs, people were just standing there (besides the rail) and alot of the people in the seats were actually sitting. It's sad when the sound guy is going more nuts than 99.8% of the entire crowd.
There was nobody in the upper levels of the arena, the whole back section was close to being empty and in my section, there were only a few people in the rows above mine.

Did anyone else besides me get to meet Robin & Justin? They were standing by the soundboard while Health was on.
(I am so happy because they are they two I really wanted to meet!)
Where was that guy standing? I was chilling back a little ways, just beyond the main pit and just left of center on the floor. There was this one drunk old-ass motherf*cker with his girlfriend that decided to stumble around behind me for half a song until he finally touched me and I gave him a shove. Then him and some other dude went to the ground and security kicked his ass out.hecate_dracul wrote:You guys weren't totally grooving on the drunk guy screaming THE WHOLE NIGHT?

I got some killer videos from 103-A...great show, and YES. REPTILE. Amazing. Crowd was a snore, but the guy next to me was absolutely blown away by the stage show. I'll try to post up my vids in the next few days. Next stop for me, VEGAS.
