Health might have slightly grown on me. People were idiots again tonight and booed them during their set. It was rather entertaining when people in the crowd realized that there was a live video feed.... not so cool when they were giving Health the finger with it.

For all of Health's set, as well as everything up to Closer, the bass was way too loud. It wasn't nice shake your teeth bass; it was loud enough to cause highly audible distortion, which kind of fucked up the beginning of the set... the songs sounded strange to say the least.

The visuals for Ghosts Piggy are neat in that the size of the flame behind each band member are directly related to the loudness of their audio. We got the couple screwing in the bathroom for Survivalism; one of the cameras was on the headbanging light guy... he was more enthusiastic than most of the crowd.

I think that some people up on the rail must have had the lyrics to Closer (or something), since TR made the comment that he learns by repetition. We were "thanked" for being such a cordial and polite (I think) audience to Health. We were also told to buy their record and steal NIN's records.

I was a little sad not to get The Big Comedown, but I've gotten it before. I had a great view from the soundboard of the visuals, which was really the first time that I'd been able to see everything.

Pretty awesome fucking show. I was pretty close to the front and the crowd was great in my opinion, didn't go too overboard with the moshing which was nice. March of the Pigs was fucking awesome, however. All I was thinking when Hurt came on was that someone or something was going to fuck it up, but nope, it went very smoothly and blended perfectly into In This Twilight. No rarities of the sort, but lucky for me I'm going to the Worcester show tomorrow and I guarantee we'll see a song that hasn't been played on the entire tour. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Trent and the band were ace tonight, lets hope it continues. As for Health, I enjoyed their set, but most of the crowd didn't which I expected.

Loved the show! It was way good. Except the part where someone stole my wallet out of my back pocket in the pit, against the barricade. Thanks fuckers. :)

The highlight for me was either Vessel or In This Twilight. Hot shit.

Yea, I kept checking my pockets regularly because I felt like someone kept trying to get into them. That sucks though.

after pretty unusial setlist in AC we've got pretty common setlist in Manchester, but as far as NIN concert can never dissapoint me it was another awesome show. the band was on fire, crowd was pretty tame though.
missed The Big Come Down but oh well.
loved Trent wearing sleeveless t-shirts :)

I don't remember the full set list but they did not play Big Come Down or Reptile and I was looking forward to both. Oh well maybe tomorrow. I will say this though.

This is the second show I have seen since the start of this tour. The first show was on the first leg of the tour at Mohegan Sun. Great set, shitty crowd. I was hoping for a better crowd at this show since it had GA and the other one did not. I was wrong.

999,999 started playing and I made my way from the sound board towards the front of the stage. Not even 1/4 of the way in someone threw a cup at me. I stopped, picked up the cup and threw it back at the fucker. Meanwhile there was some stupid fat bitch yelling at me for moving closer to the stage even though she was about 3/4 of the way back in the crowd. I blew her off and got up pretty close. For the first 3 song the crowd was kind of standing there motionless. I was thinking to my self, what the fuck is this going to be Mohegan Sun all over again? March Of The Pigs started and I said fuck it. I opened up a pit and FINALLY the crowd showed some life, I am sure that it also had something to do with what song they were playing.

Then throughout the show I witnessed first hand something that I had really never seen before. On more than one occasion I was standing on the side of the pit, minding my own business enjoying the show, when some douche truck felt the need to shove me full force to try and knock me into the pit. Every time this happened I would grab the fucker and say "you wanna go in the pit then lets go". Every time I did this the douche would then turn tail and run away. If you want to express yourself by going in the mosh pit then by all means go in and have fun, don't just stand on the edge and be an asshole, and then when you are confronted with the fact that you are being an asshole don't go running away like a bitch. I understand if you don't want to take part in what happens in the pit, but don't be an asshole and then expect people to be nice to you. This one kid who tried to pull that shit with me ended up doing it to this guy in the pit who seemed to be enjoying himself quite a bit. This kid came up and just started pushing him and running away. The guy finally confronted this kid and the next thing you know this kids got two older guys with him and a fight just about brakes out. These people weren't even there for the music they just wanted to start problems.

As far as the rest of the show NIN sounded great as always but the crowd just did not seem into it. I felt like only half the people knew the lyrics to the songs and lot's of people were just standing there zombie like. I don't know if I am getting old or what, but this is the 10th time that I have seen NIN since the Fragile tour. Both of the shows that I have been to on this tour the crowd has been less then enthusiastic about the show.

I just don't know what to think anymore. In my mind the people coming to these shows for the most part suck. I am almost 100% sure that my rant does not apply to anyone who has anything to do with ETS or any other NIN forum. I hate to gripe but I find all of this rather disheartening. I will be attending tomorrow nights show with the hope of an energy filled crowd. If that is not the case then I may have to sadly say that this might be the last time I go to see NIN live. I have just had it with stupid people and bad crowds.

EDIT: Worcester made up for everything thank god!

Good show. It was a bit hard to get into at first, possibly because of the fucked up bass, but it got rolling for me once the YZ tunes started. Crowd was kind of dead, except for the people near me who kept yelling at Health. (I cheered even more in response, even though I kind of like the idea of Health more than the actual band, if that makes any sense.) The crowd tried clapping along to "Hurt" but were so incredibly off-beat that I thought Trent was going to stop the song. Setlist looks right. No complaints. Went with neighbors who hadn't seen NIN before and they were about to shit themselves.

See you tomorrow. It should be a crazier show. Worcester crowds, from what I've seen, tend to be kind of psycho.
Master of the Ninth Arch
I can't sleep, so I'll post.

Loved the people around me in line! Health sounded better here than at the HOB. The crowd wasn't crazy like it was at HOB. Trent smiled. (Anyone know what the sign said? Something about Robin's bday.) There was something up with the sound at the beginning, but it got better. A security guard by the rail wouldn't let us take videos (I snuck one.) And my mom and aunt in the seats were blown away by the show. I think thats about it.

Wow. This was my 12th NIN show and probably the most hectic one since back in 2000. I was in the pre-sale line and ended up about three people back from the barricade. Needless to say, when NIN came out, I was eating the back of the guy in front of me. I stayed there until I heard "Gave Up" starting and decided it was time to get the Hell out so that I could enjoy the visuals that were coming.

Anyway, I can't wait for tonight's show!
Knight of the Royal Axe
Mini Freese's preshow warm up was pretty bangin'. I believe he did the Cabbage Patch and the Stayin' Alive disco move. Not bad for a little dude.

Too bad TR did not read the barricade sign on Robin's side earlier, though. If so, we might have also gotten Reptile.

Fun show. That is never a surprise, though.

Great show. My seventh since '91 and maybe the best NIN show yet for me. Certainly the longest and most spectacular, staging-wise.

Show was fucking amazing!!

We were 4th row the whole time and got smushed to death...but it was worth it!! Sad we didnt get reptile or BCD, maybe tonight!! Brought my crappy Point and shoot with me to see if I could get some shots out of 150 shots I got 3 or 4 that were decent...Was nice to see NIN upclose and not from the stands like Mohegan sun. Oh and Vessel was unreal!! Here are the pictures...

First one of this tour for me. LOVED his exit with Zero-Sum...man, that was beautiful. I really felt like Reznor completely gets what a stage show is all about for this music. Best performance I've ever seen.

Drove three hours from CT to see this show w/ a friend of mine who had never been to a NIN show (this was my 7th) Trent did not disappoint - much more energy than the Mohegan show. Lighting still stunned me, and I still got teary-eyed during Hurt. Wish that we could have gotten some Great Destroyer, but that's OK. The crowd was pretty indifferent - there were three people really into it in my section, and I was one of them.
Worcester, you're in for a treat. I wish I could go - if only it wasn't so far from my house and I didn't have to work tomorrow.

I am so jealous of you! I remember how at Izod you got your way to the front, and then you found the clue (did you get the prize yet?) and now this?
Bricklayer
Robin's faces were priceless when he was reading my poster. That's all I got to say for now. I'll post a more in depth review when I have more time tonight. :)
