the PA cut out at the start of terrible lie. trent stopped the song after it came back on, made it clear that he was pissed off and started it again with tons of energy.

Pretty sure that's all the songs. The order is a bit off though. Or very off. A little disappointed about the length of the set, but very glad they covered (almost) all the bases. Well rounded set for it's length. Seeing Home live, makes me think I'll die happy.

No Physical, Last, Reptile, Get Down Make Love, Only, In This Twilight, Zero Sum, Down In It- only played 1 song off of With Teeth and nothing from Year Zero...

oh well - maybe I'll try to catch the Irvine show.

Since when did NIN stop finishing the show with HLAH and stage destruction? The energy was a little low, but Tom Morello was amazing with his guitar.

This is the 5th time I've seen Nine Inch Nails, and personally I thought it was one of the best shows. The energy was great throughout the whole night.

I was in the pit and it was really rocking.

So excited to hear The Way Out is Through, Metal, The Becoming, oh and I'm Afraid of Americans (so fucking cool!!!)

Again, I thought this show was tremendous

Oh, also Trent joined SSSC to sing Kick Out the Jams. Wow was that amazing.

Fun show. Security was quick and painless.

It was awesome seeing a few new tracks in the set list; can't wait till next week's shows.

Street Sweeper Social Club were ok; they're not my cup of tea, and the matching shirts were kind of corny. The cover of Kick Out the Jams with TR was good.

The set list was nice and varied; I've always liked I'm Afraid of Americans and it was a treat to hear it live, as well as Metal and La Mer. NIN seems to be having bad luck with PA systems this tour... as previously mentioned, TR wasn't happy when it cut out and made a comment about how it wouldn't be a NIN show if something didn't fuck up. Rob Sheridan was on stage during Metal filming it, so hopefully that video will show up in the near future.

The section around me kind of cleared out for Jane's Addiction, which was their loss (I was in Row A of Section 102, so it was all NIN pre-sale tickets). Jane's Addiction put on a good show; Perry Ferrell is a riot.

I actually thought this was one of the best live concerts I've ever seen in my entire life. Was getting kinda pissed about the people complaining about it being a short show or what not.

And SSSC surprised me, I didn't have that high of an opinion before tonight, but seeing them play really showed me they're a pretty good band, fun to watch at least.

I felt bad for the leader singer during the TR song lol, he didn't quite know what to do except dance around, it felt really awkward.

this was a pretty good show, although it did feel kind of short. it was wonderful getting to hear some of those rarely performed songs (the fragile!!!). the band didn't seem to have as much energy as other times i've seen them, but that could be a product of playing three shows in three days. that must get tiring. i can't say enough about how wonderful the pre-sale ticket experience is, with JT walking us in and making sure to maintain the order of the line. i was there pretty early and it was a pleasure meeting all of you in line.

i got a few pictures that i'll post once i've finished sorting through them. i'm looking forward to the next few california shows. this show was good, but i have a feeling the next few will be better. hope to see lots of variation in the set list!

I couldn't help wondering if TR was sick - he was off stage for about 10 minutes during the instrumentals. Maybe he had too much fun in Phoenix and over did it? I mean, Ilya can sure play piano, but I would have thought TR would have done that on a normal night. Hmmmm. I hope his day off birthday thing treats him well...

It was a good show. I thought it felt a bit short, maybe cause I didn't stay for Jane's Addiction, but it was a good show nonetheless.

"OOPS" + EXCHANGING BRUISES WITH HIPPYGEEK IN THE PIT + I'M AFRAID OF AMERICANS = FUCK YEAH!

I thought it was hilarious when Trent knocked over all that shit, went off stage for a while, and when he came back said, "Oops." The piano playing Trent did on Metal was surprising, and weird, and more like an actual 'pounding things out on the piano' kind of player, but with really weird notes. (heh) And they played the song I really wanted to hear more than any other, I'm Afraid of Americans. Also The Becoming sounded fucking killer! He really figured out how to pull it off live.

Perry Farrell was killing me, cracking all sorts of jokes the whole time. He couldn't possibly have looked more at home anywhere else than he did on that stage.

The short set was a bit of a let down, but I still had a great experience. Terrible merch though, Jesus.

wtf is it with some of you people? "I feel let down" blah blah blah......You guys sound so ungrateful sometimes its no wonder why TR was kinda pissy in that last interview he did for the "fans"

We had a killer show.....Metal was the highlight for me. The ending was amazing and I liked the fact that it was somewhat of an extended version. The Way Out Is Through was also great not to mention a stellar performance of 1,000,000. I heard fans bitching that we didnt get Closer or Starfuckers while leaving the venue. Maybe TR should think about playing Closer to God just to please those fans out there that NEED to hear that song. I know I'd love to hear that version of the song. The times it was played in '95 sound awesome

NIN started about 10 minutes late. The pit was a bit more packed than the other shows I have been to on this tour, so it was harder to keep the camera still during the faster songs. Got the whole show except for Gone, Still.

Two songs into SSSC (who again were on fire) Todd came out and started to get Trent's microphones ready and JT came out and talked to the venue security. Oh yeah.....so San Diego was a sold out show right? Well look at what I found. There were two girls walking around with two huge stacks of tickets for sale. They were offering "upgrades" to those who were sitting on the lawn. Funny how its a sold out show, yet LIVE NATION still has tickets for sale to people who already paid for tickets.

"Hey! Lets try to get people to pay TWICE for the same show! We need to unload these tickets we bought from Ticketmaster!!!"

really great show. i guess this is my last one? unless trent decides to get the machine kicking again in the future.

terrible lie was amazing. wish was great with the double bass. the becoming was so much better than when i saw them do it on the bowie tour. afraid of americans was the shit!!!! the fragile was hauntingly sweet. the sounds trent did in metal were very cool. the way out is through was great to get.

a great show really. i thought it was really well rounded. of course if i had my choice "HLAH", gave up and hurt would have been swapped out for "in this twilight", "heresy" and "somewhat damaged"

but we got a great setlist. afraid of americans alone was worth it for me since i never thought i would see that song live.

they did "banged and blown" with no vocals during soundcheck while we waited for tickets. the goobers behind me said "janes addiction is doing a great job with this sound check." later they said the following dumb statements: "does the band keep the lights on the tour or do they belong to the venue", "the road crew does the soundcheck. the band doesn't", and a bunch of random music trivia which was all wrong about nin.

Wow. First nin show and I LOVED every second of it! First time in the pit too AMAZING show, SSSC was perfect, they're SO fun to watch. NIN of course got everyone going, solid setlist. And I haven't heard many Jane's songs but they were very entertaining to watch and they perform REALLY good. Also a great moment when Trent came out of nowhere to play Kick Out The Jams with SSSC, too bad for those who showed up late and missed that. Gotsome great pics of Robin and Trent that I will be posting later, but woah what a great night... And I got the poster I wanted

This was my 7th time seeing NIN and I thought it was an amazing show. When the PA dropped out everyone in my section was a little nervous wondering how TR would react. When he simply threatened that he'd tear down the PA himself if it messed up again I knew all was well. The band (and crowd) seemed to really be into it (the set, not the PA problems). Can't say I loved the ending combo of THTF and Hurt, but I really can't complain with all the other great stuff I was able to hear.

Also, SSSC cracked me up. Seriously, where are we? And who are you again? Please, tell me again. They sounded great, and, of course, TR joining them was fantastic.

Yeah, I was about to say that. Plus you gotta figure anytime a musician changes a shirt or pants or whatever they have to re do all of the wireless mic crap, so that explains why he was gone so long.

Also, that picture of all those tickets that person holding is kind of disgusting.

And yeah, it started to become funny when that singer from street sweeper was like, "San Diego!"

Awesome show! We were in the handicapped section because my friend's in a wheelchair, so I was glad that the view was good. SSSC definitely impressed, when Tom played the guitar with his tongue or teeth or whatever, I had to stand up and applaud. Then TR ran out and I was so excited that I shot up out of my chair and knocked the damn thing over!

NIN came out and everyone knows what went on at the start of Terrible Lie, I think everyone kinda held their breath to see what Trent would do about the fuck up. My only complaint is with the fuckhead who sat in the rows behind me and kept saying "Down in front!" whenever I got up to jump around or dance. It's a damn shame that some pissy little cunt would spend so much money to come to a show and sit on his ass all night. Okay, I'm gonna stop there or else the rest of this post will just be a curse-filled rant.

Setlist rocked, and I got to hear The Way Out Is Through! I've been wanting to hear that song live for five years now, so I was glad to hear it and sing all the Oooh's and Aaah's with him. Also made a new BFF with the guy sitting on my right who kept giving me high fives whenever I stood up to dance, kept asking me which songs from the setlist were on which album, told his friend that I was "psycho" for knowing all the songs and, finally, asked me if The Becoming was off The Spiral Staircase.

epic fucking show. this was the third time i have seen them and they were fucking amazing. i loved metal, the becoming and the way out is through. i got some decent shots for being on the lawn. and janes was fucking amazing as well. perry was seriously the best part of the night with his "which way to the moon". my friends and i joined him up there when we got back home. it was pretty sick i might just have to find a way to get me a ticket and a ride out to vegas for tomorrow's show.

Seventh show I've been to in the last year and the best yet. The San Diego pit area was less than fantastic with some morons claiming "the animal" was about to be unleashed when NIN came onstage, followed by some little girl making up lyrics to hurt in a shrill voice to my right and a creepy old dude in a ripped up wife beater trying to cop a feel on my girlfriend and the rest of the women in front. I have no idea how he was able to stay there without getting thrown out.

Great set. Thank you everyone who took a camera. I've done it for every show now and I'm glad I forgot to bring it this time around. Hope to see some nice HD footage and more audio sources to follow.

If someone would post the original file from kick out the jams I would love you forever.

Great show, both NIN and JA. Wish I could have heard "Mr. Self Destruct," "Last" or "We're In This Together" live just once before NIN called it quits, but it doesn't look like that'll happen now. Oh well, I can't really complain. This show was just amazing.


What was up with security there though? Every time I turned a corner, I had to show my ticket again.

It's a 24-bit FLAC. Your FLAC playback device or software may need to be updated.

The show was great. Looks like a ton of us recorded video, too!

I put my stuff up on Vimeo, but it just doesn't reach the same audience that Youtube does, so I put it up there, too. I resisted putting up the 22 seconds I got of "Gave Up" (shot before I turned off the camera and started rocking out, the way I should have been all along...)
