But, the BEST SHOW EVER!! Seriously, this NIN show was amazing...

And I thank my experience for not looking at the setlist for this tour, I was in for a HUGE surprise. I have no idea what the other setlists have been buut... this may or may not be a surprise..

The fog machine let off the smoke alarm and NIN were delayed by 30mins. Buuut... it was well worth it! Best show ever... Oh My GOOOD

During Gave Up, when Trent went to play the keyboard, he put his guitar pic in his mouth. When he started to sing again, the pic went flying out.

The show was really good. I enjoyed TDTWWA and The Fragile, neither of which I'd heard live before. I Do Not Want This and TDS were nice surprises. Rob Sheridan was on stage during Metal again, so I guess that a multi-show edit of Metal will appear at some point in the future. I wasn't thrilled with the people behind me who decided that TDTWWA would be a great time to talk loudly, as well as during Hurt. They also splattered me with beer.

As ManBurning said, the fire alarm went off before the show started. Apparently Marilyn Manson was the only other group who'd managed to do that according to the usher. I kept waiting for it to go off again during the show, but thankfully, it didn't.

Jane's Addiction are starting to grow on me. Perry Farrell has a very colorful wardrobe; tonight's choice was a pair of silver sequined pants.

Setlist looks right except it was Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now) which worked surprisingly well after The Frail. The show was absolutely amazing! I love the Somewhat Damaged opening and the last time I saw it was my 1st show ever at Jones Beach, NY in 2006. Seeing such gems as Heresy, The Fragile, I Do Not Want This, and TDTWWA was a life changing experience heh. NIN & Vegas is always a good combo and even with the smoke alarm going off everything was perfect. Even Jane's fucking rocked and I wasn't really a fan of them before. Can't wait for the trifecta of Tri-State area shows! Camden, Holmdel, and Jones Beach I hope you're ready to have your faces melted as JMJ would say.

Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now) feels harder live than on FDTS - i just wish the pit had had the energy level to make the most of it.

And I Do Not Want This!! I'm a happy bunny. Even with Trent fucking up the ending, singing, "I want to be everywhere, I want to know everything" hehe

Oh, and I have a Dave Navarro cigarette butt heheh.

And a few other special odds and ends :)

This was an incredible show!! probably my favorite from the bunch I have seen. I'm so glad I got to hear Physical!! (among many others)

I got a few HD video clips captured as well! so I'll be posting those as soon as I get back into Calgary. Expect to see something up late tomorrow night, or Thursday!

I'll do a full update later but I have to go to bed. Really quick, NIN was great. Highlights: Physical, I Do Not Want This and The Downward Spiral ( *sniffle*)

As for Jane's Addiction? WOW! Their set was amazing!! Perry is such a performer, it's awesome! I really liked the vibe from their show. Very energetic, loving, it was good.

Since I left my camera at home, I bought another out of a best buy vending machine, so I'm not quite used to it, but some pix came out ok. I got a couple song clips, but the majority are bad quality. I need time to figure this thing out Here's some pictures, more to come!

AMAZING. Iv been fortunate enough to catch at least 1 show from every tour since Fragility 2000 and It seemed like last night they were really at the top of their game. great setlist, great energy. If this is really the last incarnation of NIN, then i'm glad its how Trent decided to close this chapter.

I honestly considered leaving before Janes since i bought the ticket, but im happy to say i was completely won over by their performance. NIN has been my favorite band for about 10 years and i have the up most respect for Trent as a musician and would consider him a true Artist, that being said Perry Farrell maybe be one of the the last great "Rock Stars," the stage presence he has is truly something to behold.

BTW Trent without a doubt made the right decision to have NIN play first and close with JA, the flow was perfect and just felt very uplifting for a NIN show hehe. The only thing i could of asked for was maybe a couple more songs for the encore but definitely no complaint on Hurt being the last live NIN performance i might see.

I loved this show despite being the only show I was able to attend. The crowd was bit lacking in energy. The previous five shows I've been to, the crowd was most of the time on their feet and energetic. Then again those shows were in L.A. and Irvine. I got a little tear in my eye during Hurt knowing this may be the last time I will see NIN, but all in all a beautiful show. Really wish I could go see them in CA.

Highlights would be: Heresy (didn't recognize the song at all when they began playing), Metal (couldn't believe they played it!), Physical (amazing), and TDTWWA (loved, loved, loved).

I wish I could've stayed for Jane's entire set, but I had to leave early since my sister needed to be at work by seven in the morning the next day. It was getting so good right when we were leaving! I need to see them again.

I loved when Trent smashed his guitar neck into the mic stand and then tossed the guitar behind him at the end of Terrible Lie, it was first time i've gotten to see him be destructive from up close. I think I might try to film the Camden or jones beach shows, but I have to buy another memory card first.

Video is uploading to YouTube now. And, yes, I am aware of the guy that thought it was lets sing along off key with Trent night. Wrong casino, that's Wed-Sat at the Sahara. That's when he wears the white rhinestone jumpsuit.

Oh DUDE! I didn't realize you were you. When ItsJustDave told me your name I must have missed him saying your screen name, unless he didn't say it. Ahhh I feel like a douche now.

Show was amazing, had perfectly center seats. The people around us were all cool and rocking out to NIN. I did notice the pit was absolutely dead though. This was probably because most of the pit had video cameras out filming the whole time. Only complaint was the mics were a tad low, and that's if I had something to bitch and moan about. Probably the 2nd best sounding NIN show I've been to, with the LITS vegas show being the best.

I got to see so many favorites from TDS live finally, especially Heresy, IDNWT and TDS, to which I flipped out for. LOVE that song and been wanting to hear it live for the longest fucking time. It was fun watching Trent bouncing forward and back while playing with the sound samples during Metal. Amazing show.

I stereotyped too - I assumed you were a little off because you're more active on nin.com (some over there have even less time for me than the ETS peeps - hehe, oh the joy of rumor). All is good though.

Good to see you on your feet and in good health anyway.

Now I'm wondering if I can save for one last show next month. Or will that really break the bank.

BEST SHOW EVER. I'm a huge nin and Jane's fan so it was the ultimate. Setlist was awesome, I was so psyched to hear Heresy, Metal, Physical, TDS, pretty much a dream setlist.

on the rail in front of Robin/Eric...first nin show EVER where I didn't get killed in the pit, strange--didn't even get bumped into. Guess because I chose to stand off to the side. I have at least 2 shows left, can't wait.

Finally made it back to the interwebs. What the fuck was up with the smoke machine? Good show in Vegas but the crowd was far and away the worst I've ever been in. Still you have to hand it to Trent and co for bringing a huge amount of energy anyway. I loved the setlist especially the NCSMN version of Piggy. Sound in the Pearl was incredible and I felt that Jane's played their best set of the three I saw.

One semi highlight for me was that Justin recognized me in the pit while playing Piggy. I'd been standing right in front of him for three shows because Perkules is obsessed with Dave Navarro and he looked down, saw me again and nodded. It made me feel a little like I was a part of something, and a little creepy at the same time.

Now just Denver left.

My buddy and I traveled from Utah for this show. His '71 bus was leaking tons of oil, and was continuously smoking but we made it to the show, so that was good. Great show. My buddy and I got all of NIN on tape:D (The camera died JUST after Hurt ended) I was thrilled to see The Fragile, TDTWWA, and TDS all live! Wow. It was great. Jane's addiction played a great show too. Dave Navarro is an incredible guitarist and it was fun seeing him live.

On a side note, I was totally bummed about no Street Sweeper!! I only heard they had cancelled right before I thought they were going to come on stage. I really wanted to see Tom Morello live. Oh well. It was still a great show, and totally worth the money.

Now on to see Tool in Salt Lake...

the recording of this show on dime is the best recording of the tour, everyone should come and help seed it

SSSC didn't cancel. They were taken off the bill.

After seeing that Jane's had to keep all their gear in a ballroom while NIN was onstage, I'd guess they decided NIN's stage set-up was too complicated to set up on the fly after an opening act. (Apparently the stage was too small to accommodate multiple stage set-ups stacked in front of each other.)

Kudos to whoever taped and uploaded the Vegas show recording... it IS the best recording to surface so far! It's great!
