Think this is the correct setlist. Great show, NIN blew away all the bands that were playing before them, Korn included. I don't like 1000000 much, with it's pseudomacho riffing so it took the next couple of songs to warm me up, but other than that everything was perfect. Trent was so energized, maybe it has to do with the mediterranean diet he's probably been enjoying during the few days in Italy. Spotted Robin roaming in the center of Milan, walking down the street listening to his Ipod. Was such a funny view, this anonymous guy in raggy jeans and t shirt, sporting a weird haircut, in a city where every other person you meet is either a sharp dressed yuppie/metrosexual/wannabe type or a model searching for fame in Milan's fashion agencies. Btw italian goths are funny, they have A TAN. Guess when it comes to spending a nice weekend on the beach they just can't say no.
I heard some people got mugged during the show, which is another typical aspect of italian concert folklore, like the numerous bootleg t shirt stalls at the entrance, or the guys roaming the crowd, selling beer and soft drinks. Imagine jumping and singing along your favourite NIN song when this burly guy plants himself in front of you bugging you his merchandise. Not very rock'n'roll.
Like I said NIN's performance was absolutely awesome, light show was great as always. I hoped they would play ITT but oh well...

damn you spoiled brats :D (joke)
"last" is up, will upload "the becoming" and "la mer" (partial) next.

other than that, i agree on "merchandise" thing. you're watching your fave band performing good songs and all of the sudden there's this guy selling you instant raincoats and beer.

haha, I watched you and the other guy risk your life in the traffic just to have your pic taken with Robin, pity I didn't have a camera with me, could have immortalized the whole scene. btw, thanks for the pics and videos everybody.perchee wrote: [et me guess, the pictures were taken? >:]

let's just say we'd be pretty lost without your italian skills, thanks for all the company and help :]
"the becoming" and "la mer" (partial) are up now. i remembered i have a few more videos on my cellphone but the quality of those is questionable. then again, it wouldn't be the first time i'd upload phonecam video.

I'm trying to find a picture, but I swear Trent was playing a Fragility guitar. Not the one with the flower, but the green one.
