We hit the jackpot!


dont remember the whole setlist, but we got: TDS!, Physical!, Down in it! SICNH!, and so much more.

I have never been this exhausted and happy after a concert. the heat was intense. TR even said a couple times, that it was hot as hell.

I have never cried at a concert, even made fun of people for doing so. Tonight, during the last verse of hurt, I started sobbing like there was no tomorrow.

Thank you, trent reznor. Thank you for giving your everything. Thank you for making intense music. Thank you for Nine Inch Nails.

Edit: One minor disappointment: we didnt get an encore, after HLAH the light just went on, but i still think they played roughly 1h 50 mins, and everybody was soaked and exhausted after that time.

They played Burn as well.

I just got home (and showered, first thing ). It was just fucking incredible. The band was really into it, and you could tell Trent was in a good mood, too. I expected a temper tantrum when either Ilan or Robin screwed up during SICNH, but they just stopped playing their instruments and Trent began the next verse alone, with the audience singing along. Really great moment.

There is more, but I'm too wasted at the moment to remember.

Generally, the band seemed into it, rocking out, but they were off at least six or seven times. Out of tempo, out of key. Honestly, I am not that convinced that Ilan is the right drummer for NIN.

My throat is burning, my legs hurt, my rips are bruised, I love it!

Great show with many special moments.

I remember some teens' dumb faces when they realized that the song they mistook for "Closer" actually was "The Downward Spiral".

i loved it as well...was the sixth time i saw nin and it was fucking awesome.
loved the venue much more than columbiahalle...
the support act sucked tho...

nin was brilliant as always, even better....great fun...i was sweaty as hell...

still wondering who the cute girl was, i shared a cigarette with and gave a flyer for making fresh air...

What a great and intensive show yesterday!!!!!

I must admit that I was worrying if they could do with the *** acoustics in the Arena (I´ve seen a lot of awful concerts there with really awful sound), but it was brilliant!!!

I was a bit disappointed about Mew; got 2 CDs of them & I was curious to see them live...... not really stunning......

Only tiny little disappointment: Even if NiN played quite long, I really missed an encore..... just for a good finale^^... even if I was (like everyone) completely soaked with sweat... as TR said: It was HOT... in every sense of the term...

Ah yes, and something else: Even if I have and really like every album of NiN, I wished they´d have played more of Year Zero... Last time they came to Germany was beginning of 2007, before the release of YZ, I remember they played one, two songs of it in the concert (an AMAZING one i.the Columbiahalle), but no more... I would have loved to hear a bit more of this album (f.ex Vessel, or Me, I´m not or The great destroyer.....) which became one of my favs..........

But still: This concert was kick-ass!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I saw NiN @Hurricane-Festival just a week before yesterday, it was a great show too, but it really makes a difference when there´s a mixed audience like on a festival or a crowd full of fans like yesterday......

It was a great show! Quite different than Düsseldorf and a nice variety in the Setlist.

Regarding YZ songs being played in Germany: they played quite a few at their show in Munich (Zirkus Krone)

Thanks for the corrected setlist, 2 late, and also for taking the extra 15 seconds to actually spell out the titles (which saved me from spending 15 minutes trying to figure out what on earth SICNH means, for example).

Wow, what a fantastic show! It was my 7th time seeing NIN, but my first time seeing them in Europe (all the other times had been in the states).

I had no idea what to expect from the audience, and was shocked (and delighted) at how small the venue was. The audience was amazing. Even though I was on the rail near Robin (also a first!) no one was pushing up against me from behind.

The security guard also gave me his water bottle after the show, which was greatly appreciated! Even though the band kept throwing bottles of water to the audience, none of them came my way.

I met a bunch of really cool people at the show. I want to thank all of you for being such a great audience and making this lil American feel right at home.

This sho w was amazing and I'm so happy I went. It was worth all the pain in the sun. So many songs I hadn't heard before, so many songs I was hoping to hear. It was a perfect night. I'm a stupid hostel internet, and don't have the time to write anythihng at all, ao I'll come back another time.

have i already told you? probably not. my left arm is out of order since i damaged my "nervus radialis" 2 days before the concert, so please don't rant about this video, since i was only able to film with one hand

anyway... of course it was a damn good concert. but i haven't been to a disappointing nin-concert yet. let's give it a 8 out of 10, okay ?

Whereabouts in US? Hehe, I saw 2 in US and this last one in Berlinnn. My favorite!

Great show !

The band was in a great mood, the crowd was in my opinion a bit to calm in general but was really awesome in quite a few places !!
I was just so happy to see the string bass on stage before the beginning of the show.
I just love to see NIИ in that kind of "minimal" shows, no big lights show (which are however really cool for what I've seen on video), just the crowd and the band and also good sound.

Setlist just kicked ass.

I once again didn't managed to keep TR's tambourine, and I'm left with cuts on both of my hands. But Rock'n'roll without a bit of self destruct isn't really Rock'n'roll, isn't it ?

What could I say abot the show? I waited in the scorching sun for hours, all the time growing more exited. So my expectations were high. I was lucky to get to the rail, right infront of the place where Justin would be.

I quite liked Mew. Someone I knew long time ago wanted to borrow me their albums, but we never got to that. I liked the music, but the band itself seemed distant.

Then there was more waitingand it was starting to get hotter. As if it hadn#t been hot enough...

Smoke and clapping. People whistling and screaming Nine Inch Nails. My heart was beating faster 'cause of the exitement. And then Somewhat Damaged. I love the song to bits, and I love it as an opener.

I tried not to expect any specific songs and was pleasantly surprised by every one of them. Espacially the ones I hadn't heard before, like Metal and I'm Afraid of Americans. But my absolute favourite was Physical, which I also had never heard before.

There were a coupöe of songs that made me a little teary-eyed, some more than others. After Something I Can Never Have I was wiping not only sweat but also tears off my face.

This show for me was more abou the music than the ones I've been to before. I'm not sure I can explain myself very clearly on this one... Even though the guys were right infront of me, and I enjoyed watching them and thinking I had eye-contact with Justin and Trent a few times, the music that was drowning me was all that mattered.

The energy was so intense. Some people were asking me, if it was OK for me to be at the rail. I know I look very fragile, but I'm not made of glass. It was good of you to ask anyway. When head Like Hole ended and the house lights went on, I felt like I could have taken a few hours more - but that was just the adrenalin. After a while all I could think of were cold water, a shower and bed. Espacially the shower.

At my hostel a room mate told me that when I came back from the show, I looked like I was in love. Maybe that's not so far from the truth...

Justin was very nice to watch. This was my first time with him, Ilan and Robin. And it was a good first time. I took some pictures, have no idea what came out of them an won't know before I get home in a few weeks from now.

I think most people would disagree with you and, besides, what we think really doesn't matter as long as TR is convinced.
