I wasn't actually trying to be chastising... just sort of teasing, but then maybe the tone got screwed up since my sympathy for the girl was genuine. I'll say it again... ridiculous show.
It would have been amazing had it happened, but I remembered how they teased Broken by going Pinion -> Wish -> Last in Chicago (right?) and figured that's what was going down. I can't really see him doing live renditions of Kinda I Want To, or That's What I Get etc at this point in his career either. TDS is such a perfectly constructed concept album that still sounds relevant today with no alterations IMO, it's like his magnum opus (as some cool dude from the Palladium show described). Well, in addition to the fact that both of those songs weren't bad on PHM to begin with and could certainly rock if Trent gave them a live twist, I feel like these last shows are a reflection on a 20 year career, and given that, it's important to reflect on where all of this music started and how it changed over time. EDIT: To the people who are upset about "being teased" by the possibility that they were going to play PHM all the way through: No thanks... The setlist was PERFECT. It wouldn't have been perfect if they'd had to play Kinda I Want To and That's What I Get.

The quality's decent enough; it starts out pretty lousy (I guess the guy was too close to the stacks) but gets better after a few songs (by Piggy is sounds all right to me). It's not really a great recording, but IMO it's still quite listenable. I'm enjoying it, anyway. Nothing's wrong with those songs, but just being realistic about the tiny, synthy instrumentation, I don't think they lend themselves to a 4 piece rock band rendition of them very well. The only songs I would even think about switching out of last nights setlist would have been 1,000,000 and THTF, but even those renditions were more badass than I've ever heard them played before.
