Thanks to Arnaud over on HIH, the master tape has been found with a bit more information on the equipment. The master tape could be helped with a proper transfer on a 3-head deck. The transfer above seems to have spots of brickwalling. Due to this, I will keep the 2nd generation transfer of this recording below. Hopefully we will have access to the tape soon in the future! Looking back on the archive, someone pointed out that the 02/04/1990 Las Vegas recording we had was actually this one. Very sorry to share that one. When I received it, I was told that recording was uncirculated. It was actually mislabeled. With going through 1,200 sources, I am likely to have an error or two! Sorry!

This 2nd gen tape will stay up until we can obtain a better copy from the master tape that isn't brickwalled . This was originally uploaded to the archive in September 2013, but that version of this tape ran a bit slow and had weird track placements. It was also a 2nd gen tape, but I have transferred this one. Tape is good, especially for an early 1990 recording. This tape is complete as NIN only performed up to "Down In It." Then the PA music came on. So this was a shorter opening set than usual. Thanks to acc123456 for lending me the tapes!

I've had this tape for almost 3 months and was in talks about getting this tape for almost 3 months prior to that! My Nakamichi cassette deck crapped out on me and I needed to get it repaired. This was the first thing that I put into it. Skot emailed me back in August and told me he had a few tapes of his friends that had been sitting in a box for years. This was one of those tapes. The recording is fantastic for a 1990 tape! Full recording, and fades in just a few bars after the intro begins. Taped by his friend Trevor on a Sony Walkman, this is one of my favorite finds for the archive! Thank you for Skot getting a hold of me and sending me these tapes over for the archive! I'm so happy to have added this, to what would have been just a tape rotting away in a box. Awesome!
