Recordings
Notes
Great recording, there are a few pops at the beginning of the show due to putting the mics in position for the show as well as during it to adjust them. But this is a great recording and nice to see Ghost 8 in its 2nd performance get captured in this quality.

Great recording. This is definitely one of the best of the tour, but there was a mishap with the batteries in the R09. Didn't switch to fresh ones which then went out during "Terrible Lie" and he did not see it until after "Head like a Hole". So the songs not recorded were Survivalism - 08 Ghosts I - Only - The Hand that Feeds - Head Like a Hole.

Chaonatic's video footage is some of my most sought after video recordings. I was never able to get the raw footage (or even the final product files) for the archive. His footage is some of the best from the 2008-2009 tour. I am not sure if he did film any more shows from 2013-2018. But if you're out there. I would love to chat about your footage! Thank to fillow, this was ripped from Chaonatic's YouTube channel. Most of the videos were 720p, and only a few were actually in 1080p. I just kept all of the 720p tracks and merged them using MP4tools into one MP4 file for a sort of seamless video. There are fades for almost every song. But not too bad. Again, this is a great video and one of the only times that Love Is Not Enough was performed on this tour, also one of the last times it was played.

This source was released almost a year after the concert was performed. Worth the wait, great sound and very crisp. There are a few singers and talkers on the tape but nothing out of control.

Submitted by an anonymous source. Holy cow... I believe the first full soundboard show to circulate from 2007. Absolute treat to listen to these Year Zero tracks. Thank you to the anonymous source, whoever you are. Absolutely amazing to hear this.
Notes
Great recording, "Hyperpower" into "The Beginning of the End" is pretty cool during this show as is "Terrible Lie" -> "March of the Pigs". There is apparent muffled sound during "Me I'm Not" and "The Great Destroyer" but that is because it started to rain and the taper needed to protect his mics. No doubt a great recording from the YZ tour. This recording was highlighted in the RITC's Recording of the Week.

Next to a few other recordings that have been surfaced in the past months (like the KROQ 2005 MK4 source) this has been very sought after by me for almost 5 years (July 2010). Alex contacted me in 2010 to tell me about the two Russian NIN gigs he recorded back in 2007. Sent me a few samples of his recording and was told he'd get to me in a couple days with the WAV files so I could add them to the archive/drive. Well, days became weeks, weeks became months and months turned into 5 years! I tried the email address that he contacted me from probably every 2 years to see if I would get a response. FINALLY, last week! I got a response and to make the long story short, I got the recordings yesterday. So excited to hear these and release them on the archive! Two of the finest recordings (this and Moscow) of the 2007 tour. Never seen a recording on the Archos Gmini, but the quality is impressive! This is also the infamous show where Trent has his "steal my music" speech. So again, thanks to Alex for getting back in contact with me to unearth these uncirculated recordings.

Two of the finest recordings (this and St. Petersburg) of the 2007 tour. Never seen a recording on the Archos Gmini, but the quality is impressive! This is also the last time that "Capital G" was performed live. Like I said, the sound quality is amazing and great to have the last performance of that song in this condition. So again, thanks to Alex for getting back in contact with me to unearth these uncirculated recordings.

Many thanks to Derek D for sending this over. They liberated the bootleg CDs from Japan and this is indeed a different recording than source 1 that is on the archive currently. The recording is very good, and in line with other New Tattoo recordings that are out there. At the end of Disc 2, there are 3 songs from the night 3 Tokyo show that are definitely IEM sourced. I am hoping we can find that source some time in the future.

Many thanks to DD for sending this over. This is the same recording that TheBang sent over about 13 years ago. But this includes a few bonus tracks from the Tokyo night 3 date. Originally liberated thanks to TheBang, I have an updated CD copy that included a few IEM bonus tracks from Osaka night 1 thanks to DD. The recording is the same, but just a new rip that includes the bonus tracks. A very good recording, as usually goes in line with every New Tattoo release.
