awesome show.......Dead Souls was done with Peter this time around. TR was very chatty tonight too, said that they were ending the tour tonight and that they will be gone for a few months in the studio. Then they will return around the 1st of the year.......

I recorded tonight.....or atleast tried to. I was at the edge of section 101 row D and had to deal with some dude who worked for the Amp. I ended up cutting down in it and hurt but got the rest......will post more later

Awesome show, great way to end the tour. The setlist was pretty much the same as last night minus even deeper and adding dead souls with peter murphy. bauhaus ended with Bela legosi tonight and rocked the house, but then NIN came on and owned everybody out there (and I just saw radiohead twice a little while ago).

Trent was quite the comedian tonight saying he wouldn't be back until forever, and then saying that he'd like to thank his parents, god, his teachers, and "who else am I forgetting?"

Peter Murphy made a funny move when he came out on the set early while NIN was still playing Hurt. Trent said since "somebody" just came on stage, we may as well do some songs together. It was also cool when Peter murphy led the crowd in singing "bow down before the one you serve, you're going to get what you deserve" in the middle of "final solution."

This was my 21st nine inch nails, and it definitelty was in the top 3 shows of all time that I've seen (this includes all bands).

Oh yeah, Asian girl in the black sweater in section 102 row M hanging out by yourself most of the time and crying to hurt and being a seemingly hardcore NIN fan, I love you.

Bryan, man... we had a fun ass weekend. Hope your hand feels better after fighting for Alessandro's keyboard in Irvine.

I think that tonight's show was a tad bit better than Irvine. Peaches seemed the same. She's a disgusting whore but she's so awesome. Bauhaus once again did not dissapoint. I got really into their set and found myself dancing a lot. It was really cool hearing Bela Lugosi's Dead. It was the perfect way to end their set.

Nails had everything together tonight and delivered a solid performance that I think topped last night. I'm still a bit melancholy about this being my 5th show and I STILL haven't heard Sin played live, but that's okay because everything else still made up for it. Dead Souls with Peter Murphy on vocals was a real treat. This was such an awesome note for this tour to end on and I think we'll be seeing some crazy shit once this new album comes out.

On a side note, almost every person that worked at Shoreline was a complete fucking asshole. They were some of the rudest motherfuckers I've ever had the displeasure of talking to.

this show was the best i've seen since last year when i saw them at the warfield in sf. i almost didn't make it to this show due to the fact that my car broke down just as i was about to go on the bay bridge. i was pissed. thank god for family members that live in the city. i finally made it around 7:00pm right when peaches was starting. everything was awesome. bauhaus kicked ass i thought. david j and david ash are still looking pretty damn good in my opinion and peter murphy..flawless. trent was definitely in a great mood. very chatty and smiling. i already miss him.

great show, trent seemed in good spirits and the band was very tight. during the pause in march of the pigs, trent said something like "welcome to the last (leg/date/night) of our tour". later he said "this is the last show.. forever. not really. we're going to hide in the studio for a few months, then come back out around the first." after introducing the band he said "this is the best band i've ever had, and i'm honored to play with them."

not much from with teeth, i really woudn't mind hearing beside you in time and right where it belongs again, but the fragile cuts made up for it.

I agree, the venue guys were dicks. After being told that we could bring cameras, one of the venue guys on an apparent power trip walked around telling everyone to put their cameras away. BTW, the spider-man beach ball did make the show, but I didn't have enough hot air to inflate it to toss around. Oh well, the floating condoms made up for it.

Great show although the crowd seemed a little sedate. Probably just the nature of an assigned seating venue though. Even still, it seemed like my seat was in the fucking statue section. I'm still going to rank Oakland the best out the shows I saw this tour.

Yeah, my girlfriend and I weren't able to move that close, but we were able to move from section 200 on the far right over to section 202 right in the middle. 3 rows empty in the center of that section. Made it a lot easier to get some great pics. Overall amazing show...probably the best show out of the 5 I've gone to this year and a half.

Can a band be any better than NIN live? No FUCKING WAY!. I was about 6 rows back in the middle, and it was amazing. This band just gets better and better every time I see them its crazy.also This show was my all time favorite of any concert.

It was GREAT to meet you yesterday!!!!! Aside from that damn mullet wearing son of a bitch, the show was fucking awesome. Man, if the spiderman ball was used, they would have probably confiscated that as well, along with everyone's cameras and cans of red bull, those fuckers!

Not many good ones of NIN, but I did get good ones of bauhaus and peaches. I kept hiding my camera during NIN's set. I can't believe they were kicking people out of the show for taking pictures. Fucking outrageous.

I'm so glad I changed my mind and went to this show! Dead Souls was a sweet surprise, but I'd have to say hanging out with the people I met this weekend was much more meaningful.

After getting back from Irvine at 7am, I slept for a couple hours and then started to get ready. I was on my way to venue at about 4:30pm or so when I got sidetracked by Incendiarylover and her friends. 1 guy + 4 hot women = lucky me We missed Peaches and part of Bauhaus, but we still had a great time. The band was on, Trent was chatty, and I even got to disregard the security guards when they tried kicking me out of my new seats up front! Rock and roll!

Anyway, again I wanted to thank Incendiarylover and her friends (Maria, Sarah, and Glossy)! You girls are all awesome and I was about 3 seconds away from humping all of your legs after watching you all get ready. God damn you girls looked hot! Anyway, it was fun watching you devour all that food at Denny's and I enjoyed staying up and chatting with everyone until whatever hour it was. We'll have to do it again sometime! Thanks again for everything, sweetie! And be sure to pass on my thanks to the other girls as well! *muah*

Great show. I'm pretty sure this is the first time going to a "last show of a tour". Was cool seeing all the roadies hugging and shaking hands before the start of the show. Since this was the only show I saw on this part of the tour the setlist was good because I had not heard it all before. Non-Entity was cool to hear. The "light gate" in front of the stage was a very cool lighting effect. Trent in front of the LCD screen at the back of the stage with only his silhouette showing was also very cool.

I have regained some confidence in a NIN live show. Still can't beat seeing Radiohead 2 nights in a row and they played over 40 different songs between the 2 nights. (and don't say Rediohead songs are easier to play.)

So did they do a meet and greet?

Wonder what will be next. I hope for an acuostic (deconstructed) show at Davies Symphony Hall doing the more "quiet" songs. Hearing the Still album live would be sublime.

We had a freaking blast. The drive sucked, it was very hot and we were very lost looking for our hotel. After that kind of frustration al I wanted some wine and time in the pool. Hence the tardiness Gazoo mentioned. It was lovely to have you there sweetie! Dry humpage in that situation would have been acceptable. I just hope the estrogen overload wasnt too overwhelming.

So we were late. I did get to see Peaches performing with Bauhaus. In Mr. Ash's furry white coat no less.

I was hoping for a different setlist from the night before, but Im really happy there were a few Fragile tracks. There were a few noteworthy incidents during the first few songs... TR was having difficulties with the mic, either it didnt work or he sang into the wrong one. Aaron got smacked in the face a mic- perhaps as a warning to stop fucking up the Fragile tracks? Huh. Funny shit when The Rezinator was skipping around and almost tripped on his mic stand.

This was definitely a bittersweet show. I have made so many friends and had some good times... And now its done. Even if TR fufills his first of the year comment, it will be different. New line up, new Rezinator hair issues, new trivial spiral members to piss me off.

I'll stop being emo. Will post pictures soon...

No. To my knowledge, the only Soundcheck/ M&G that took place this leg was in Red Rocks.

When we first got to the venue, I was unaware that we were going to be put through a form of pre-show calisthenics: "Line-up...No, don't line-up; gather closely, in the hot sun, and fill-in the concrete." It was also odd that we Spiral Members, with the "holographic tickets" were let in early, for the bar-check. Oh well, at least we got out of the sun.

As for the show, it was definitely an amazing experience, from beginning to end.

Did anyone else notice Jeordie getting distracted by a floating condom during Wish? He was looking over at it and he really looked like he wanted to hit it. He took a few steps over to it but then he had to start playing. I thought he was going to miss his cue due to the distraction. That would have been great.

I was trying to hang out outside of the bar and hear the soundcheck before I realized that they were playing it inside the bar. The stupid asshole security people kept telling me to go back inside the bar and I kept saying "but I'm not 21!" I swear, every single security person was a fucking asshole. Everyone from the guy outside who was yelling at people who were in the wrong line to the people who made us stay in the bar. After the show, I wanted to talk to my friend who was about two rows up from where I was and the prick secuirty guy told me to leave the area by saying "the exit is that way." The only cool Shoreline worker was the guy in the bar who gave me water. I came back to the bar about ten minutes later and he was gone and when my friend asked another worker if he could have some water, they told us to leave because they sell water outside.

so did anyone else get stuck trying to make their way south back towards LA/San Diego? Right as the base of the grapevine a HUGE fire broke out and we were stuck in traffic for three hours. Should have been home around 7ish but didnt pull up until a little after 10pm Heres a quick snapshot i took while parked on the I-5

My friend was fighting for the tambourine with the guy in front of us, but he had the quicker hand. Augh, man, I'm so sad about that. She would've given it to me because she's not really a fan of NIN.

Anyway, while I've been to only two shows, this was definitely the better of the two, though it might have had to do with the much closer seats I had. Still wish I had gotten one of those "red flag" shirts or whatever, but they had no more smalls. :( The actual show made up for that, though. I'm still suffering from a withdrawal of sorts. Wish I could've just stayed there forever. ;_;

What's the song during which Trent kinda sways his hips back and forth to whilst singing? I was ready to faint and die. Wonder why I remember that...? Hehe.

Oh, and I ate at Denny's afterwards too. Saw a couple of people from the concert, which is pretty awesome, given that I thought my city was close to void of any NIN fans. :D

Yeah TIMP I was stuck in that mess as well. It was fucking boiling hot and we decided to keep the a.c off to avoid overheating.

If it makes you both feel any better, right after the show going North on 5 was a disaster too. First, there was a HUGE accident with a bunch of cars and a tanker involved. The tanker spilled it's contents all over the freeway, so they had 5 shut down in BOTH directions and had the HazMat team out there. And this was in L.A. still! It took me an hour to move 2 miles due to the detour (the actual accident was on the South-bound side). And then they had some construction going on about 2-3 miles past that where it went from 4 lanes to 1 lane. Jerks. And then there was another accident, though this one was only 2 cars, but an ambulance was on the scene since one car looked like an accordian. Once I got past L.A. proper, it was smooth sailing. But for a while there, I was Mr. Insane-O. GAH!

Awwwwww! I was sad too. Not the "I want to cut myself" kind of sad, but sad none-the-less. Anyway, glad you got home safely!

It was an awesome show!! I'm so glad that I decided to go. I thought that they had the most energy of all the times that I saw NIN on this tour. They all seemed like they were having a great time. For me, the highlights of the set were Somewhat Damaged, SICNH, Down in It, and Dead Souls.

As for the venue, the security people at the Shoreline always act like pricks. At Ozzfest this year they wouldn't even let us bring in water, totally unreasonable when you're going to spend all day in the sun. I had a disposable camera during NIN, and no one gave me any problems, but I was in the middle of the row in 103 row S, so maybe they didn't see me taking photos. I haven't gotten the film developed yet, so I don't know if they turned out or not.

For you guys who got stuck on I-5, I feel your pain. I've been stuck on I-5 a few times, and I had to completely by-pass the Grapevine one time because road was closed due to snow. It sucks to be stuck on that road, especially since most other highways that you could take instead are so far out of the way.

Really an awsome show. After the Oakland show in November, which was the only other one I've been to, the shoreline show was fantastic!!
I must very much agree that the shoreline had some total assholes working the show but I encountered some pretty nice people that were trying to make the best of what they had been dealt.

I join the ranks of the missing after not getting to hear "Right where it belongs" but they did play it in Oakland.

Wonderful seatmates Gina and Kelly from Atlanta made the show allot of fun since they were totally into it and didnt make me feel like a lost case. I came alone and I didnt care, I was going to get into the zone and stay there until the lights went up, Thank you girls for the parallel vibe that was so great!!!

After the show I went down to the front and visited with Jenny and Ron who got Arron's guitar. That was very , very cool. I guess Arron basically handed her the thing and it was completely intact!!! She was such a good sport and let me check it out. I'm too old to be freaking out over shit like that but I still did. Thats the best part of going alone , you go and do as you please till your ready to go and do something else.

This show meant allot to me and I was glad that everyone was there.
The photo on the NIN website of that nite actually has me in it. Although I'm just a face (or back of the head ) in the crowd, I know I'm right where it belongs............................wonder which side of the glass I'm on.

PS: NON-ENTITY sounded beautiful with full band. I really hope Trent finds a way to release it that way...

Weird. Because I remember reading him say that "Adrift and At Peace" was the ending of "La Mer" at one point, during The Fragile sessions.

"Adrift" was supposed to be the 'conclusion' to "La Mer" (speaking thematically) not necessarily the actual ending. By contrast, "Slipping Away" was literally cut from the original ending of "Into the Void".

Dude, it was my pleasure!! This was my fourth show and he was just AMAZING.. it was such an awesome show!!

I didn't think anything can beat the experience i had at Madison Square Garden, NY when Manson came out and sung star f*ckers then sung beautiful people with Trent... but this.. this.. was just mind blowing!!
