After meeting the band the first night, I didn't know how we could top it the next night. But NIN DECIDED TO PLAY "NOW I'M NOTHING!!!!" Which they haven't played since 2009 and only played a handful of times since 1991. There was no "Bad Witch" segment of the show like all the setlists before. They were not fooling around and played hits after hits!! It was epic! LOVED hearing them cover Joy Division's "Digital!!!" We had some great seats thanks to m0reta on ETS. I was living in San Diego at the time and she came to the physical world pre sales and picked us up tickets. This recording is for her and she was the reason the tape came out so well because the placement of the seats. Honestly, the best setlists that they have been playing and I think better than the first night. We met a lot of people over the weekend, and it was amazing to talk with other fans around the concourse and head out after the shows to talk about our favorite band. I will never forget this run of shows!

Best two shows I have ever seen. My brother flew down to Atlanta for the shows and these are now the only ones I am making. I've been running the archive for almost 10 years now and I have never met the band. All I have wanted to do is meet them, shake their hands and tell them how much I appreciate their music. So I sent a message over twitter and the outpour of support was overwhelming. Their tour manager contacted me and we setup a meet prior to them going on stage this night! We went up to meet them and it was surreal!!! Just to meet the band that I admire so much and travel to go see with my brother, it was just an awesome experience. We chatted about the archive and taping and I understand where TR is coming from. He told me that he is flattered about the site and the band came to speak to me and said that they love my work and the site is incredible. It meant a lot. Alessandro said that, "if I need to know where I have been since 2005, I just go here". It made me laugh. At the end of the day, no open taping policy because they can't control the quality. But he respects it and said that I can keep doing the good work and he would never shut the site down. It was such a great thing to hear from him. He told my brother and I a few other things that will be coming up and we talked about the Banksy Hotel compositions that will be coming out on vinyl! There will be a bigger write up about this encounter on the site. In regards to the show, IT WAS AWESOME. This is the live debut of Dear, World and we had some great seats thanks to m0reta on ETS. The first recording to be released from the 2017 run of shows. First performance since August 2014 for Nine Inch Nails. Thanks to Sheepdean for sending over the mp3 of the recording to the archive, initally. Later in the day, I was sent the respective 24/96 FLAC file version in which I changed the tags of the FLAC files to align with the naming system of the archive. I have also created a 16-bit version for those who still like CDs and don't want the huge 24 bit files. Initially, I was told this was an anonymous source. But it turns out it's from our friend Me, I'm Not; who did a fantastic run of shows recording How To Destroy Angels in 2013. Tape is excellent. Recorded from section 105. Thanks to everyone involved with bringing this recording to light. I hope there will be more to come from this year's tour. (and possibly this Me, I'm Not taper will contact me so we can chat and I can thank them personally!)

First show in which "The Frail" and The Wretched" were performed on this leg. A very good recording. Up to this point of this recording's relese, this may be the most Schoeps sources that NIN has had for one tour! Thanks to Nicky C for taping and sharing!

Add this to the massive list of stellar recordings Tapeworm48 has racked up taping Nine Inch Nails. Taped about 50 ft. from the stack, this recording sounds amazing. NIN in a 3,000 person venue... Doesn't get any better.

Me I'm Not recorded the full west coast leg with some fantastic gear. Obviously the results are fantastic. Great tape and they recorded in the highest bit rate/sample rate size possible to archive this show at. So if you are looking to play this on a CD, you must convert the FLAC files to 16-bit/44.1 kHZ. Amazing tape.

There is some problem with the post-recording of this show. The raw files are fine, but just some up and down in the audio. It doesn't take anything away from the recording if you are super OCD about these things. A fantastic recording.

Amazing recording. Thanks to Tapeworm for sharing it with RITC. Here are some notes from his text, "Taped from a few steps in front of the soundboard cage. Crowd got rowdy and I got pushed around during 'March of the Pigs'. Raw transfer with no fades or EQ." This is the 16/44 version, the 24/44 version is available on the NIN Drive.

One that was buried in Tapeworm's archives, thinking that it was already released. As the fileset was created December 2006! Great recording and glad to see it finally out there. Makes me wonder what else he may have 'buried' in the collection? Ha!

The only source from the Portland rescheduled date. Crimson was kind enough to upload his recording to the server which I thank him a million times for. Had some problems with the recording, missed Somewhat Damaged and then the tape went out abruptly during "March of the Pigs" because the batteries died. But to hear a few songs from this night is awesome. Terrible Lie is sick, and just like all of Crimson's tapes. It is awesome.
